Make sure to ask to shop in the back room if searching for "something different" Give yourself plenty of looking time. There is a lot packed in to see.”

“IT IS NOT CLOSING DOWN. Came in here for the first time last night and was told there was new owners and they are remodeling. Although the interior of the place does need some work, the bartender Christine was FANTASTIC, super friendly. Literally was ready for me with another drink when I finished one. The patrons were also friendly even though it was clear I was a newcomer, it was a welcoming atmosphere. They have a nice loud JukeBox as well, and…. SLOTS! I will definitely be coming back.”
“We had purchased some gloves from Dick’s online…. and when we got them they still had the anti-theft device connected. So we went to the Dick’s Sporting Goods store. The guy at the front desk removed the device in about 10 seconds. He was super friendly and helpful. We decided to walk around the store and do some shopping. That was when we found The North Face gloves for our granddaughter. Dick’s is always a fun place to shop. They have everything you would ever want that is sports related. The stores are always clean…. And the staff is friendly and helpful.”

“I moved from Racine to Los Angeles, CA in 2007. Sure, there are some decent bowling alleys in LA, but the vast majority are completely devoid of the charm of a place like Sheridan Lanes. Sheridan is relatively inexpensive, has friendly staff (including the pro shop), and it's a true bowling experience. Bowling is an activity meant for the working class, it's not meant to be an experience in low lighting with loud dance music, and overpriced faux-fancy bar food. All of these things are why Sheridan is one the single best bowling alleys I've been to. It has everything a bowling alley needs without the excess that's turned bowling into some sort of exclusive quasi-club experience. I apologize if this review has read like a bit of a complaint, but really bowling here made me miss bowling in Wisconsin and I realize how difficult it's been to find that experience at lanes in Los Angeles. I will be back whenever I visit friends & family in Wisconsin!”
