We recently chose Otto Nelson Moving for our move from our home of 14 years. We interviewed 4 companies and felt Otto Nelson was the best. We definitely made the right decision! Who can say they honestly enjoyed their moving crew and had fun with them? We can! Our crew of Trevare, Ramon and Nathan were simply the best and we’ve moved quite a bit. They were punctual, professional and cared about making sure our furniture was well protected during the move. We played music and laughed all while working. They were a joy! In addition Mikki in the office and Jonathan our first contact who came to our home to quote the job were top notch and very helpful. Not all companies come to your home personally, one of the four we interviewed did not.
I highly recommend this company for your move and this crew. They’re number one in our book and everyone exceeded our expectations.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. I used this company as a referral from a very reputable company . I contacted this company to transport my car out of state. First to began the day my car was suppose to be picked up the transporter wanted me to deliver my car to him in a empty parking lot, which I refused to do. #2 when it came time for my car to be picked up the driver had the wrong delivery address and I had to contact the company back. #3 I had been waiting for my car for a long period and decided to reach out to the driver , whom laughed and said you haven’t gotten your car yet. I reached back out to Otto Nelson who kept lying and saying they didn’t know where my car was( that is very unsettling and very unprofessional) they knew where my car was they were just making me wait. Other extreme methods had to be taking for my car to be found and of course the owner, George surfaced and found my car. Lies they knew where my car was. All of sudden I am suppose to get a $150 check in the next 2 weeks for all the turmoil and inconvenience and till this date have yet to receive it, If they were sincere it could of been deducted off the total or refunded back to the card that was used. I would not recommend this company to be used because they are liars and should be ashamed of themselves running a business that way.

Otto Nelson made an on-site inspection, others by phone Otto Nelson had the best packers and when the day arrived to load, dispatched a team of 5 to load (driver had injured back). Everything done with 4 hours!!! Excellent customer service, excellent support, and biggest kudos--- all arrived without ANY damage!! Do yourself a favor when moving - give Otto Nelson the opportunity. You'll be glad you did ! ;)

When I moved from Kenosha to Atlanta I used Otto Nelson Moving. The sales person was really nice and made great promises about protecting the railings and carpets. It all seemed great. However, the actual move did not live up to what I was sold. The movers did not pad the railings, they ran out of moving blankets to pad my furniture. My move had to have a 'shuttle' - a large moving van wouldn't fit down my street, so they packed up a smaller van, like UHaul size, drove it to some other place where the big moving van was, unpacked it, then came back for more. During this time the crew put my furniture in the driveway in the hot sun with no protection. Because of the shuttle process the move took forever. I would never do a shuttle again. I would choose a company with a smaller truck or better driver to do the job.I don't know if all moving companies do this, but for our job the 2 drivers worked for United, but the people who loaded and unloaded the truck did not. They are day laborers that they find somewhere. That means they aren't trained, they don't have any incentive to do a good job or be careful with your furniture.Once the truck got to Atlanta and was unloaded there were issues there as well. We paid extra for 'professional' disassembly and reassembly of a large teak entertainment center. One of the drivers was the 'professional' but used an impact driver on my teak furniture and drove the screws too far into the wood, didn't level the unit, and ultimately caused a lot of damage, including breaking one of the curved glass doors. The movers also dropped a $1400 desk off the truck, breaking it. The driver offered me $100 not to report it as they apparently get bonuses for no claims. Overall there was damage to a lot of my wood furniture - dings, scratches, etc. The good part is that United made good on repairing things. The desk was replaced with a new one, the wood furniture was fixed by a local company that did a great job, including having a new curved glass door made for the entertainment center. Other smaller items like the workbench they bent or metal patio furniture that was scratched, they reimbursed me some money.So while United ultimately resolved the damage issues, I should not have had to go through all of that. I was sold white glove service and certainly did not receive that. I would not recommend Otto Nelson Moving and Storage or United Van Lines for moving anything.

These guys were absolutely amazing! Kenny and Vince were extremely kind and did a wonderful job moving my stuff. My only concern was that Otto Nelson quoted 6 hours and the move actually took 10 hours - but I think the virtual quoting might have been the issue there. Other than the difference in quoted time, I had no problems at all and would HIGHLY recommend this company!

The absolute worse customer service. They delivered cabinets for me and called off box numbers to me to mark off that I received, a few were not called off. I marked on sheet which ones, delivery guy called off the numbers and said he had found them in the pile . The box was never delivered. I called and spoke to Jeff, who is the rudest person and was told oh well you signed for them. Fast forward 6 weeks, my cabinet was located at a different job site. I called to tell them that it was delivered to wrong place and I already bought a new one, long story short Jeff hung up on me! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !! They do not care about their customers !!
