My family came in to find home furnishings and we were fortunate enough to receive help from Tona Goddard, Assistant Store Manager - and Robert from warehouse and delivery. Tona was extremely patient, caring, and exceedingly kind. Not only did she do all she could to help us with our purchase and delivery order - but she took the time to hear about our circumstances and that means everything. Thank you BOTH!!!

You are better off buying things brand new/on sale than shopping here. Prices are close to ridiculous. Goodwill and local thrift shops are cheaper. I understand wanting to support the mission and god but god would not want his people making tons of money off of others free things AND while the employees are being rude to customers. Very crazy experience.

St Vincent is always good about keeping all the items organized, compared to the other thrift stores. I understand that living expenses has gone up drastically, but it has gotten out of hand in terms of being expensive...most people's income including my own, has changed at a rate very, very far from the pace of inflation. There were so many items that were not name brand, with not the greatest condition that was priced at or even more than what you pay for a new one at a regular retailer such as Walmart and Target (an example is I found a plain plastic container, not even a large storage bin, for 7$). It just kind of defeats the point of thrift shopping. Not to mention you are betting on a pretty big chance as far as finding what you need to begin with, which means when you factor in the additional time and effort for the "hunting", there is even less acentive to go to these stores.

I like this store’s mission, its employees and its customers. However, I witnessed the Store’s management treating many employees and some customers terribly. And so, going forward, I will support my community through other organizations that have integrity intact. SVDP can and should do better as a catholic-ran nonprofit organization.

While in line to drop off donations, my truck's battery died. The guys working were extremely helpful, but Joey went above and beyond. He pulled up his truck, pulled out his jumper cables and attempted to jump my vehicle. Unfortunately it was unsuccessful so a few of the men pushed my vehicle to a parking spot. While waiting, Joey offered my daughter and I something to drink and popcorn while we waited. What a blessing! Thank you so much!!!

What a refreshing experience! This store is quite accommodating. Their layout, inventory, personalized service, are all well-above grade. Items are easily viewable, and pricing is more than reasonable. The staff are both friendly and very professional.

Prices have gone up, as with everything else, but I still find lots of things at good prices compared to retail stores. Sign up for text messages to get the weekly special sale, and ask for the senior discount Mon-Thurs.
