Never reviewed a placed before, but this place was so bad I have to. When I first started here it was leaking from the ceiling and they had buckets in 4 different spots forever. Awful communication, antiquated machines, and expensive fees. $100 sign on fee is insane for this place. Use that $100 and buy some dumbbells from Walmart, anything is better than this place. Not worth it, do not come here.

I was a member for a year here. There are some positives and some negatives to this health club. The people are nice overall but gym etiquette is not always observed by the younger members.In regards to the facility itself, most of the equipment is antiquated. The facility in general could be kept cleaner and more well maintained. The price is about fair I would say for what you get. This gym gets the job done but barely.

I started going to this Gym about a month ago and loved it, I went almost every day. Then last week a man tried following me into the locker room. He was leaving the men's locker room, saw me, stopped and stared, and then walked away. I thought it was strange but didn't want to overthink it so I just went into the locker room. Then when I was walking out of the locker room about a minute later he was trying to push the door open as I was pushing it to leave. I asked him what he was doing and he just stared at me and wouldn't move. I reported this to the staff on shift, I identified him on the camera and told her what happened, she was helpful and understanding. She asked me to talk to the owner on the phone to tell her what happened. The owner, Chris, stated "well maybe he was just admiring you" and "I wouldn't get too upset, we can give him a verbal warning", she obviously did not take me seriously and was insinuating that I was a d*** little girl. I am 25 years old. I no longer felt safe going to the gym so I went back today to see if they had fired him as a member, and they hadn't so I decided to cancel my membership, I had to call her to get approval to cancel. She stated "He has been a member for 15 years" and, "I think you are just looking for a reason to cancel your membership". I told her this was not at all the case, I loved going to the gym there until this situation and she continued to say "You are just looking for a reason to cancel". As if someone would make this situation up to cancel their membership. The owner is extremely unprofessional, doesn't listen to or respect other women, and is not someone you should do business with. I hope this situation doesn't happen to anyone else, or worse because she will not believe a word you say. Who knows how many other people have experienced this situation and she just blew them off. This man is still a member of the gym, and Chris is not doing anything about it. Be careful.

Just wow. The staff was incredibly accommodating and helped us get the membership we needed. They also showed us around and they have an impeccably clean gym. This place is wonderful.

Blackhawk Fitness has great cardio and weight equipment, including a brand-new rowing machine. The people are welcoming and the environment is supportive for all your fitness goals. There is even a sauna in the locker rooms. I recommend Blackhawk Fitness!

Basement is very low lighting and depressing, readmills never work or turn off during a work out... My key wasnt working for a bit and used my bfs and got yelled at like a child about it.. Wont go back
