Our 3 year old was at the Eau Claire Kindercare for 3 months. While there, he was served or exposed to food he is allergic to on 2 different occasions, despite very specific discussions with the directors and teachers in his room about how to handle that. Both incidents resulted in treating his allergic reaction. 2 different lead teachers in his room left without any notice to the parents, and there were often teachers in the room I had never seen before, indicating high turnover. The teachers in his room used excessive amounts of screentime (watching shows on a tablet), in place of educational or interactive learning. I'm comfortable with using videos for limited educational or activity based content, but I saw screens used purely for distraction and sometimes during meal times. Many mornings at drop off, the teachers would require the kids to sit and watch shows in the morning, instead of playing or talking. I have seen little to no educational enrichment for my child here, and have felt that his health and well-being were at risk.

In our first year they lost their director, our child’s teacher quit suddenly, they had a number of break ins, and then we were forced to find a new school because they couldn’t find a new teacher. When my child started at a new school they said they liked the teachers at the new school because they “didn’t grab hard, they didn’t grab at all.” We were already gone when we heard that big red flag. Still don’t know what to think of that one. After joining a new school, we couldn’t be happier. Didn’t realize how unorganized Kindercare was until we got to a new school. It’s too bad because some staff there seemed very friendly, but I believe our kids teacher was a disaster.

Highly Recommend Kindercare! The staff is so friendly and my son absolutely loves going to daycare. Never once had cried when I drop him off. ?

I personally don't rely on Google reviews for daycares. In Wisconsin specifically I used the Young Star website to get information on daycares. Kindercare was one of the very few 5 stars daycares a year ago and originally I wasn't necessarily looking at Kindercare because they are a chain and they weren't great quality in Arizona where I lived prior. However, because of their rating and the fact that that had zero violations in the past 3 years made me rethink that choice and I'm so glad I did! I felt great from the very start bringing my 15 month old here. I love that they have an app to easily communicate and get daily updates along with pictures. They don't have a huge turnover in teachers which is huge in getting to know your child. Then the unexpected happened with COVID becoming a thing and they have handled that very well too. Overall wonderful place.

My son has been at KinderCare for a few months and we couldn't be happier. The teachers and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to the needs of individual children, and staff and parents alike are going above and beyond to follow best practices for safety during the pandemic.

We have been with the Eau Claire KinderCare on Fairfax for a year now and my son and I love the staff and curriculum. I highly recommend them for childcare and preschool.

Chrissy who runs it is amazing! The teachers are friendly and they care about having fun and learning. All of my kids have gone there so we have been going for about 7ish yrs. My youngest who is now 4 is looking forward to starting 4k through them as well. He is very judgmental when it comes to new people but he took to Ms. Laura right away. His teacher is the best. Definitely recommend

Our daughter has been attending here for a year and they have been great! The app they have makes it easy to track her daily routine and the staff is super friendly and attentative.

Dirty, teachers aren’t very nice to students. Make kids wait to go outside for over 20 minutes standing in a line wearing all their gear just roasting in the already hot classroom. Overpriced when they do nothing for your kids and the stuff that they do offer they upcharge it. I’m not one to really caring about Paying extra for my kids happiesness but when a institution is dirty not updated no toys for kids to play with no curriculum teachers are 20 and under with no experience and other teachers are rude to the students it’s not worth it!!!
