Messed up my engine block over bored the cylinder! Piston didn't match the bore I tried to show them this and Lee wouldn't stand behind his work wound up going to other machine shop to fix problem I'm out $400! They will ***** you over!

I was charged $300 to press out one UJoint and press in two new ones. Driveshaft was already removed from the truck. They claim it took 2 hours to press 3 U Joints. I pounded out one and put in a new one with a hammer and socket in 45 minutes. There’s NO WAY it took 2 hours with a press especially when the C Clips were already removed. And I was charged $9 for a credit card processing fee when I payed CASH! Local dealership showed 1 hour book time to remove driveshaft, replace both joints and reinstall driveshaft. Full Boar is full Bull! Keep your money and go to an honest shop!Service: General repairs & maintenance

My engine went out a few months back, I am from out of town, they arranged a tow truck and had my car to their facility within the hour, and was diagnosed as a failed timing chain, they explained all my options and everything from cost differences to warranties, and even took me back to show me what had failed, I needed up going with a used engine but my car is running better than ever! Jake and his crew do top quality work at a reasonable price. Work is done accurately and timely. Always willing to answer all questions and explain in detail any additional work to be done. After a recent deer incident, I was thrilled to learn I could have the use of a loaner car while my vehicle was being repaired. Top notch service, friendly, knowledgeable. These guys are crooks! They charged me over $900 to not fix my car. Upon picking up my vehicle, it ended up being worse off than when I dropped it off. These people are crooks! I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy! I was having problems with the cam shaft in my Dodge Journey. They gave me a $6000 estimate, which I declined. They charged me over $900 to get my car back without fixing anything. They failed to put my car back properly, causing it to leak all the fuel from it.

My windshield wiper transmission wore out and needed replacement. It was raining so I could not avoid it the rest of my 3 hour trip. They got me in and out. Jacob and another man worked on it together and finished in 45 minutes! Thanks to them, I made it home safely and I got to my job interview on time. HUGE THANKS to them :)

I was traveling in the area for New Years weekend and my car's breaks started grinding as soon as I got into town. Even though they were closed, Full Boar looked at my car, ordered the parts it needed on the Friday of New Years Eve and had it fixed Monday morning. They were incredibly accommodating and explained everything to me. Very trustworthy and willing to go the extra mile to make sure the job was done right and as quickly as possible. I am a first time customer and will Definitely be returning. I had a Huge leak in my brake line. Lee fit me in the same day, got it fixed and back on the road. My husband is working up in that area and had a wheel bearing go bad. As he needs his truck for work, this was very very bad. We called a lot of shops, and Full Boar was the only one who could get him in quickly. Lee was wonderful! There were sooooo many issues, and he went the extra mile to get the truck repaired quickly. We had just gotten a lot of work done before he went on the road, and the mechanic here misplaced (or kept) the key to the locking lugs. They left out a part, which resulted in the problems we were having. And NONE of what was needed was available in Dodgeville. And of course, until he got the key, he couldn't see the parts needed. Some of the parts weren't going to be available for days .... It was a stressful mess. Lee managed to get what he could, and I believe actually fabricated one part. He got the truck back on the road in just over 24 hours. Eternally grateful.Service: Steering/Suspension

ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! I honestly wish we could give more than five stars!! A+++ service. We were on our way home from a long weekend up North and all of a sudden our car lost power and couldn't accelerate. Thank goodness the next exit was Dodgeville. We pulled into Full Boar Auto Service, my husband went in and spoke to Lee, the owner, and told him what was going on. Lee immediately sent his tech Jesse out to check it out. He hooked up the diagnostic machine, drove our car a half block down the road, came back and immediately went to work!! The High Pressure fuel pump had gone bad. They called around locally, unfortunately couldn't get one until the next day around noon (because it was so late in the day). They kept calling and found one in Mt Horeb, had it delivered (after hours) and had the car running within 20 minutes!! They stayed late in order to fix our car!! Saving us a hotel stay (with our two dogs) and kept us from missing a days work!!We absolutely can not speak high enough of this place!! Shops like this are very few and far between!!A HUGE thanks to Lee and Jesse for your kindness, knowledge and willingness to go above and beyond!!! Sincerely!!!! Joel, Marta, AJ and Lucy!!

Ran over an object in Madison after picking up my wife from the UW hospital and my rear passenger tire had a bad leak. Had to stop every ten minutes to put air in the tire. Finally stopped at Full Boar just off the Interstate, explained the situation and the guys had my tire repaired in 5 minutes flat. They didn't even want to charge me but I insisted because of their sincerity and helpfulness. That's hard to find these days. These guys are top notch and I would highly recommend them. Thank you Full Boar!

One of the best auto service experiences my family and I have had. From out of town and our car gave out - came in less than 10 minutes to give us a jump and let us know other issues were at play. Couple hours later new alternator and belt put in and we were on our way. Very grateful for the quick and affordable service provided.
