After a bad first impression I was slowly won over by the staff. Coming from a customer service background I have higher standards coming into that type of environment. But in the end of the visit I was won over and the staff ended up being great. Everyone has bad days, maybe it was just a bad moment when we happened to walk in. I won’t hold it against them. Especially after the visit ended positively. Clean store. Helpful and knowledgeable. The payroll manager was there too and he helped out a lot also. His demeanor was great the whole time & friendly even with my kids. Overall, had a good experience. Thanks!

I have been a customer for years. They sold me a phone that was lost by UPS. I was not told what I needed to do, which was file a claim. Why I needed to file a claim for something they ordered is unknown. Then my phone shut down because they transferred my service to a phone I did not have. I went to the corporate store and got it restored but I have a hold on my account because the phone they ordered could not be delivered to their store. Now I cannot buy a new phone and have a hold on my account. NEVER go to the Delavan store. The employees are half asleep and could care less. I am awaiting the outcome of a UPS investigation.

We had a horrible experience switching to USCellular from another carrier at this store this past Saturday. We had Jaime helping us. He was the worst customer service rep we had ever met. We were at the store for over 4 hours to switch over and never once did he make us feel welcome. He seemed annoyed that we were there and that he had to help us. Maybe spoke about 3 full sentences to our family the entire time we were there. After the 4 hours we still had to take the phones home and do half of his job ourselves. Today (Monday) we took our old phones into the store to turn in and he rolled his eyes at us when we walked in the door and seemed annoyed once again that we were there. When walking in he asked if we already had our phones factory reset and when we said no he sighed and had us do it ourselves right there. There was a very helpful young lady that then stepped in to help us out and was very kind as we had to do a few things to get a phone to reset. Meanwhile, One of our phones was dead and he proceeded to ask if we ever had trouble charging that phone. When I said that we did he said, “well you need to learn how to clean out the port then”. Jaime needs to not be in customer service. He is the worst excuse of an example of a good employee.

I went to drop off my payment in a check form like I have before but this time they said we don't take checks. They take checks if you mail them but not in person makes no sense. I said I wanted to talk to a supervisor they said there wasn't one because they were on vacation. I said could you call the supervisor from another store or headquarters they said no. On their website it says payments accepted but it doesn't say they no longer accept checks. Not getting me a supervisor was almost worse than not accepting payment. US Cellular not accepting checks suggests to me that they don't trust their employees.It's pretty sad when a business won't accept a check as payment!!!!!!!

My 76 year old mother bought a flip phone for around $300. She absolutely hates it (she's had other flip phones). She had it for 2 weeks and they wouldn't take it back. Neither my sister nor I could figure this phone out. How to save a picture, and sometimes my mom would send a text message that we wouldn't get, and sometimes she wouldn't get ours. I'm so disgusted, because we need to be able to get a hold of our mother, and vice-versa, because she's 76 YEARS OLD! The phone is very unreliable. Heads-up, found out they changed the phones so they are no longer user friendly, especially for seniors!

Very positive group to work with I was returning cuz I got stupid and changed to someone else different carrier for a while and very attentive very helpful and if I didn't know how to do something on my phone to help with the switch you're right there to make sure I got it done right. Glad to be back

Update:A representative from corporate reached out to me the next day, apologized, and completely rectified the situation.I’ll be staying with this company.Original review:I’ve been with US Cellular for almost 20 years. I didn’t have an issue until the “Free Phone for Anyone” promotion.It’s an absolute scam and the company should be embarrassed.I was deliberately misled by the saleswoman about the amount my bills would increase, and customer-no-service could only apologize and tell me that all I could do to “get more credits” was pay the exorbitant amounts on my last 2 bills.I’m NOT a happy customer.
