Be prepared to be made super uncomfortable by the pushy owner. The energy of the place is draining, and the staff just aren't it.

This is one of the only gyms in the milwaukee area that has everything you could think of plus some! My favorite part is the Woman’s Only gym, the privacy and comfort to be able to work out and not feel like I’m missing on anything is truly amazing. The staff is so helpful and the other amenities make everything worth it. Keep up the great work!

This place is really affordable and such a good environment to get a work out in! The court is free in the mornings where I can get my laps in and then work out after. So many new renovations and such polite people. I used to go when it was the YIM so I’m excited to see any new changes the owner has for this place it really needed it and so far they’ve done great!

I joined a year ago. My friends who belong SSAC , love the atmosphere and I see how well all the machines are maintained . The staff is excellent !! Friendly very helpful. And I love the swimming pools! Honestly one reason I joined . The hot tub & pool is maintained and clean and all supervised . And from lockers rooms to basketball courts to class rooms for yoga etc . Are so clean Great teachers . I am very very comfortable here at SSAC . And I have 2 friends joining . Thank - You Andrea Vlasis

I went here with a friend to check out the gym on a day pass, and the process was easy and the staff were nice. After getting in though, I was surprised at the difference between the photos and the actual place. The men’s locker room was dusty and had trash on top of the lockers, the carpets were stained, and the hot tub had sand at the bottom of it. Also the swim suit dryer was not working. The workout machines in the main gym are functional and ok. All in all I wouldn’t want to go back unless they improved these issues.

SSAC is a great facility! Beautiful pool, lots of well-maintained exercise equipment, hot tub, gym and lots more. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Place is pretty clear and safe. Has men's, women's, boys and girls locker rooms. You should try it!

This place is amazing! Big pools, newly renovated basketball court, and brand new clean machines in the weight room. Staff is always friendly and happy to help out. Very affordable, especially considering the quality! Love this gym, best one around!

Ive come to work out and it was great. I chose this gym because i was pleased to see a swimming pool and hot tub. I was beat from work and really wanted to relax in the hot tub to unwind. Ive tried three times after work. 25 minute drive one way and the hot tub was broken or closed at 5. I understand some people are lucky enough to have weekends off. But i work in an industry where weekends are required. Its frustrating that the pool closes earlier than the closing time of the gym on weekends. Hopefully this will be changed ?

Very unprofessional all those pictures and stuff where before the south shore thing now it’s the south shore athletic club and it sucks!! Courts are always used and also they don’t even have a good weight room. They call it one but not really that good with a lot of equipment. Especially there service THE WORST EVER SERVICE. Very unprofessional and do not know how to manage it looked good at least In the photos but not in the inside looks like owner and staff don’t know how to run a business. Also expensive for the quality and the service they have would go to another gym for the same price and more equipment and a safer environment. Not too long ago used to be good with a lot of kids In there playing basketball having fun now it’s some grown in aggressively playing and no places for any children nor is safe for them bad experience never coming back . Especially for the service worst ever.

Great atmosphere and the employees are very helpful. I love the classes and the instructors. This facility with a lot of options is great. Everyone is very friendly. This is the best club for me.
