When a paying customer is standing at the cash register ready to purchase something you should at least acknowledge them and then you go back to get a second person because you’re busy and then two people ignore me. I won’t be buying anything from you ever again. Terrible customer service

This is a ok place at the Kalahari. Lots of different options of what to make. Also different outfits you can pick out. They also have various activities you can do. Aswell as a storytime for kids each evening at 7 pm. The shop also has other toys and trinkets you can purchase.

Went in 30 minutes to close on a Saturday night to get my son his birthday bear. Even though they were almost closed Kaya, Ackeyia, and Tina gave my son the whole birthday experience! They made him a sticker got him a birthday hat, gave him a sign to take a picture with! Not once did we feel rushed. Kaya interacted and waited for my shy 2 year old to open up. They were amazing and I wish this location was closer!

The staff at register was extremely rude. May be he is just racist but he literally yelled at me in a very rude tone to tell my kid not to ring the bell while the bell clearly said ring it if it’s your birthday. He said many things but I ignored and bought the bear anyway for my birthday boy but this staff ruined my 10 mins at dells. I do not recommend others going here at all with such staff manners.

I cannot remember the clerks name, but she travels to different stores but she's fricken amazing! Her personality and her knowledge was amazing! She helped my children through the whole process and didn't push then to buy extras! It was our 1st time in an actual build a bear (ordered online tho). Kids, mama, auntie all happy! Thank you so much

Our kids seriously had an amazing time. The staff was friendly and prompt at helping with us. They were quite busy and I would say it was an amazing visit and we all left happy.

While the majority of the positive reviews may be from years ago, I encourage you to trust the more recent ones . Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience with the staff. Their attitude was quite unpleasant, which left a negative impression. However, I must acknowledge the cashier, who was the only employee that provided decent service. I regret not getting her name.On the occasion of my birthday and my daughter's birthday, we visited the establishment. Excitedly, my 6-year-old daughter exclaimed, "It's my birthday!" However, the staff member who guided us to the birthday bear didn't acknowledge her special day or extend a simple "happy birthday." Additionally, when my other youngest daughter mentioned it was also Valentine's Day, the other two workers responded with the same lack of enthusiasm.Although we had initially planned to purchase the birthday bear, we opted for the buy one get one 50% promotion instead. We confirmed with one of the employees that the promotion was still valid, and they assured us that it was. However, upon reaching the checkout counter, I inquired about the buy one get one offer, only to be met with rudeness from a larger staff member who stated that the bears we had chosen did not qualify.Furthermore, there was a promotion for gift cards that I misunderstood, and when I requested them, the same staff member spoke to me condescendingly and made me feel foolish for my mistake. It was disheartening to leave the establishment feeling sad and upset on such a special day for my daughter and me. I believe that all staff members, except for the cashier, should be held accountable for their behavior.I cannot say for certain if their actions were motivated by racism or simply a lack of basic courtesy, but it was disconcerting to witness the difference in treatment when the next customers, who happened to be white, received nothing but smiles and kindness. It is important for people of color to be cautious in such situations.Overall, my experience at the establishment was far from satisfactory.

I used to love going here, my friend worked here a few years back. Since my friend has left, the store had a fully new staff. When we went in, We were not greeted, at all. We were not told the sales, the process, or any new promotions. When we pick our bears, we stood by the stuffer for a good solid five minutes, keep in mind it was just ny friends and i, while the staff chatted. When we were noticed, we did get our bears stuffed. We were not asked if we wanted any sounds, scents, or heartbeats. The worker who stuffed our bears did not put our names on the tags. Didn't even put the peice of barcode inside the bears before stitching them shut. We weren't even asked if they were stuffed properly, my friend left with an understuffed bear and mine was way way overstuffed. We weren't directed to any specific clothes for the bears (I couldn't find the four legged specific clothings) when we checked out another family had entered and who I believe is the store manager quiet loudly told the cashier to keep an eye on them because they were probably thieves. I will NEVER return to this location. When we left, we drove down to Madison to have our bears fixed. I will never recommend this location again.
