A local competitor claimed I needed to replace all 4 tires because my car is all wheel drive and there can only be a tolerance of 3/32’s of an inch between tires or the all wheel drive won’t work. The competitor quoted me $888.00.Pomp’s actually checked and my other tires were within the tolerance and they just replaced the 1 tire…for $122.00 installed. Thank you Pomp’s!”

“Paul got me in right away for a evap leak issue. We found what it was, he showed me, and asked if I would like it repaired. I declined, since it was a small leak. “You requested my opinion and I am happy to provide it. Service Advisor, Jaden Burdick, is awesome everytime I am at VW for service on my Tiguan. He is patient, listens to my questions and/or concerns and helps in any way he can. He always follows up to ask if there is anything else he can do to help. He explains things well. While my VW factory installed Navigation System continued to fail after being serviced twice, I had an idea to try to see if it would correct the issue but I didn't know how to do it myself. Jason listened and happily agreed to personally show me how to do what I wanted to try (deleting the existing destinations I had stored). Although this didn't help the issue, I was very impressed and happy that Jason cared enough to try my suggestion. He even asked me to please let him know if it corrected the issue.I was in for service twice within the last month (oil change/tire rotation and then alignment with new tires). What I find a little unwelcoming and, what I am dismayed about, is when I walk around the showroom while waiting for my vehicle, I am rarely, if at all, acknowledged by any sales representatives. They barely smile and most, if any, bother to say "hello". Even the gal at the receptionist desk didn't say a word to me. Granted, I, like most people, don't want someone breathing down my neck while I'm admiring all the new vehicles in the showroom but, a courtesy "Hello, is there anything I can show you or do you have any questions?" would be the minimum I would expect, especially in a Bergstrom store. It's possible these simple gestures, could generate a new car sale for someone who had no plans to trade in their current vehicle. Or, perhaps I am very wrong in my thinking, and the sales representatives have been trained to not approach people who are there for vehicle service? Or, maybe it's just me they steer clear of...”

“Another excellent tire swapping experience. The fact that they store tires for a small fee, makes the process of staying safer with Dedicated snow tires during the winter a simple reality. A simple 1 hour appointment in October or November and you can improve your stopping distance on the slick winter roads. Another 2 hour stop around March to switch your tires back to your all season tires so you don't ruin your softer winter tires during the warm weather. The employees at Matthew's are also very friendly, they take appointments and are very prompt. Highly recommend Matthew's for your tire needs.”

“Dealership had check wheel bearings. Had a humming noise I believed to be wheel bearings. Told me it was my steering rail and not the wheel bearings and said wheel bearings were not loose. Steering rails don't hum with speed. Brought truck to DC Auto and verified that indeed 1 front wheel bearing was loose and the other was just loud. Mechanics at dealerships just trained to plug into the computer to troubleshoot. Mechanics at DC Auto actually do mechanic work and look at the mechanics of the vehicle.”
