I recently rented a vehicle from this Alamo location. When I questioned extra charges to my credit card, I was met by nothing but confuscation. Over a 5 day period, during which time no one from the agency called, texted or emailed me, extra charges went on to my account daily with no explanation. When I later asked for an itemized invoice for each of these charges, they refused to send me one. When I was later told by one of the employees that the added charges would be removed, it did not happen. I've called and/or emailed them multiple times, but now they just ignore my correspondence. No one here seems to know what they are doing. My advice is to avoid this location at all costs.

After telling her no to several options she still charged me and scrolled through the contract before I could read it. Obviously took advantage of someone young and came to find out I didn’t need to pay for any of those things despite already telling her I didn’t want ANY OF THOSE OPTIONS. so deceptive. She gave me a “free” upgrade because they “didn’t have the car I originally reserved” and then charged me for it.They also don’t let anyone know that the really long line at the enterprise desk is unnecessary and everyone can go to any of those desks on the same side, they’re all the same company and can help. But instead they just let people wait in line for ever.

Great service. They stayed open late due to delayed flights when all the other car rentals were closed. Super happy I picked Alamo for my car rental :)

Worst experience I have ever had with renting a car. My husband an I travel all over the world and rent cars all the time. Our flight was canceled and we had to change flights. I'm sure lots of people are experiencing this right now and know my pain. Alamo 1st of all gave us a different car that what we asked for. It was the smallest car I have ever been in, but that was fine - it was a car. But when we had to change airport to fly home because the airline canceled us, Alamo would not allow us to drop the car off at the other airport at the other Alamo station - we got charge $700 for this drop off. WE DID NOT CANCEL OUR FLIGHT - WE HAD NO CONTROL OVER THE SITUATION AND ALAMO TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THIS AND I GUESS CHARGED US TO MAKE UP FOR THE MONEY LOSS DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. I KNOW BUSINESSES ARE HURTING, BUT DON'T TAKE IT OUT ON OTHERS. You want people to travel to keep the business running, but you gouge people who are traveling. Not good business.

Service was good. One must note that they just have Chevy car models. Therefore a Chevy compact car may differ with other company compact cars. One I got when went to pick up was way small and had to change to a full size.

I had a rental booked through another company and my flight landed early...before 6:00am. The Alamo counter was open so I got a weekend rental for the same price I would have paid so was able to get going sooner. Unfortunately the weather turned treacherous so our return flight canceled. When I call Alamo in Appleton to change my rental to drop off in Milwaukee I was told it would be $760 so it would be best if I closed out my current contract and booked separately to Milwaukee since I already had the vehicle... It was 5 times more than if I would get a one way rental from Green Bay to Milwaukee from another company but since I didn't want to drive on the icy roads and in the fog I agreed. Then I was told I actually had to go to them physically with the car to do the above! If I dropped it off in Green Bay it would be almost $300! The corporate office could not help me as this location was owned by a licensee and there wasn't a manager on site. My recommendation...go to any other counter but theirs if you need to rent a car in Appleton and there is any chance your plans are going to change unexpectedly.

I rented a car from Alamo for my family vacation to Florida. On the way back to the airport traffic was such a nightmare it took me four and ahalf hours to make a two hour trip. I thought I was going to miss my flight and Connie at the Sanford-Orlando International Airport saved the day going above and beyond. She gave us a ride to our terminal, asking the Alamo folks to let us out of a third gate area and bypass some Alamo wait time. She dropped us and helped us save thousands of dollars on what would have been lost flights. I tried to leave a $50 tip as I was so thankful and leaving a car behind filled with seashells and who knows what else! She wouldn't accept anything! From now on if available for the rest of my life I will use Alamo because of Connie. She really saved us! Also, our SUV -- a Toyota 4 Runner was awesome!

Poor customer service. Their rating on the Better Business Bureau should of been my first warning. A employee of Alamo admitted to hacking into my bank account with my personal information. The company has yet to comply to returning lost funds.
