Shredded beef was good but very greasy…$17 for a bag. Nice ambience, however 5 employees working & no one greeted us when we walked in or asked if we needed help- we had to ask them and we were the only customers there. A little kindness goes a long way & we would have spent more money :)

The ginger manger was super rude and disrespectful to me when I was trying to pick out my steak and when I asked him why he was so rude and disrespectful he didn’t have a good answer for me. I’d like for the owner to have better mangers staffed. Please advise the ginger to respect the staff and the customers but the customer service was horrible.

Rumps are the cleanest and best quality butcher shop I've seen in EC. Absolutely amazing selection. And super clean and everyone is very friendly. They offer samples and have frozen bone marrow bones for dogs. Highly recommend.

Called in an order for a pork tenderloin and brisket for Christmas. The call was a bit lengthy but I patiently listened while the owner discussed why he only carries the flat and not the point of the brisket even though I pretty quickly mentioned I was fine with either. He also discussed that they don't do things like tenderloin pinwheels which again I was fine with ,but listened patiently then handed him off to my wife so they could discuss what she wanted for a pork tenderloin.
So a couple days later my wife goes in to pick up the meat. She calls me from outside the place and tells me how the staff was rude. I also hear that she spent almost $20/lb on the tenderloin so I told her to open up the package and see if they gave us beef tenderloin instead and found out they did give us beef tenderloin. She goes back in and talks to the owner to see about getting the pork tenderloin and he argues with her stating that he never makes mistakes and that we ordered beef tenderloin (sorry, but you are for sure wrong there!). Then he takes back the full order, including the Christmas brisket. My wife starts to cry from the abuse and he tries to give her $20 with the voided receipt to shut her up and send her on her way. Instead she took a picture to capture the moment for you.
Thank you for doing your part to ruin Christmas grinch!

What a great butcher shoppe, has a great selection of meats and the cuts thereof. The staff is friendly and always willing to answer questions to the best of their ability, like how the majority of their deli products are made by them. Even though I am under drinking age the beer wall is still impressive. 4/5, would recommend.

I just wanted to take a few minutes out of my day to leave an honest review, and I didn’t even stop by today. Rumps is my favorite butcher shop of all time without a doubt. The New York strips, sirloins and tri tips are phenomenal. I smoked and reverse seared a pichana from here and it was the best steak of my entire life. Lots of flavors of fresh wings to choose from. Everything in the frozen section is phenomenal as well, from burgers to brats and sausages. A ton of different flavors and variations to choose from and they’re all great. Their house seasonings are fantastic too. I put their “mad cow” seasoning on almost every burger or steak I’ve made over the last couple of years. Also have a good selection of snacks, cheese, buns, beverages and their own beef jerky. Well done, Rump’s. I’ll see you soon!Update: I didn’t mention the outstanding customer service and overall cleanliness of this business. They were sold out of tri tips and one of the kind gentlemen went and cut me one fresh without me even asking??

Have gotten some of the best Ribeyes here. Made spaghetti tonight and used their regular Italian sausage. Not enough flavor in our opinion.
