Wonderful aspect to Sutton! We are from out of state but every time we’re near the area we make it a point to stop and enjoy our evening in the restaurant. The food is great in taste and so is the price for all that you get! They often have weekly and daily specials posted, along with their daily menu: I recommend the caprese salad, any of the burgers, and of course the s'mores skillet with the peanut butter! Being able to throw axes after you eat is a great feature to this cute restaurant! My favorite place in sutton!

Had the trout, and it was fantastic. Salad was very fresh, bread was delicious and the milk shake topped it off!Great stop!

Fantastic food and drinks!We stopped by for a bite of lunch, which resulted in the purchase of honey BBQ wings, a steak wrap, and fried ravioli. I was curious about wine selection and was happily provided with a half glass of sangria.The food is phenomenal.The historic vibes, to die for.The real star of the show was the waitress, Gracie. One of the best waitresses I've had anywhere I've went. Absolutely hands down great.Parking: Doesn't appear to be a ton of parking on street front, but it was super easy to find a place today.

What an awesome experience!!! The food was awesome! They even had gluten free options to accommodate a couple of us in our group. The server was very attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond. The owner was super nice and treated us like family. 10/10 very excited to come back the next time we are in WV!

Great place for dinner!We have gone twice and it has been great both times. Wonderful food, excellent service and a really cool place. One side has dinner tables and the other has games and ax throwing. Husband has tried a special of chili with a peanut butter sandwich, really random and delicious. Also he tried the steak with vegetables and it was cooked perfectly. I tried the trout with vegetables which I am not usually a fish person but couldn't resist after all it's an herb and butter trout and I have ordered it twice now from how good it is. We will become regulars really fast.

This place is a great little gem! We are on a 9 hour road trip and randomly stopped off to have dinner at the Bistro. Everyone was super attentive and kind, the food was healthy and delicious, and playing the arcade game for a few minutes was a lovely break from the drive! We highly recommend if you are in the area!

Service was fantastic. The Cubano was phenomenal. My only complaint is that fries were...spongy? I'm not quite sure how to describe it but they had a great flavor.I'd definitely go back.

Axe throwing alone is worth the price, but this is more of a general review. The food was average but reasonably priced. The atmosphere felt like they didn't quite know what they wanted to be. If I were a local I would probably go again.

*Bad Axe Bistro* is a cute little place with a fun vibe. Our server was very attentive and friendly, and everything we ordered was delicious. I HIGHLY recommend the Bruschetta appetizer. Our only disappointment was that there wasn't more of it! I read a lot of reviews that mentioned the ranch dressing and I have to agree that the ranch is very tasty.The only area I didn't give them 5 stars was for atmosphere because it was a little darker than I would have liked in the dining room, and our table was pretty wobbly. Really just minor issues, but my husband did find it pretty distracting so I thought it was worth mentioning.Kid-friendliness: They had a kid-friendly "axe" throwing Board that our 10 year old daughter really enjoyed and a lot of interesting things to look at. It's always nice to have something to keep kid brains busy while you wait on your meal.
