Someone came to fix a small, 2-inch crack in my Jeep Wrangler windshield and immediately after the “repair”, the crack grew to a 12-inch crack. I now have to pay $750 to replace my entire windshield. DO NOT USE SAFELITE!

There aren't enough good words in the dictionary to express how wonderful this place is. A tree fell on my car and crushed the windshield and back window completely. It did some other damage too. Auto body shops said I had a 3 to 6 month wait to repair the car. I got permission from the insurance company to pay for the glass damage myself so it was drivable. I took pictures to this office and they were so efficient in writing up the cost and scheduling me for the very next day. It makes such a difference to get the windshield and back window back to normal. Everyone was so kind. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Replacing my windshield was a breeze.Safelite on 7th St. (Parkersburg) is staffed with friendly, professional folks; I'm impressed.They overnighted a windshield from Charleston, installed at 8AM and finished 30 minutes ahead of schedule.... In time for a mid week trip.Kudos to David and his staff. I would recommend to a friend I that actually like. ?

Decided to go to Safelite auto for a front windshield since they are a company that specializes in automobile glass. Made my appointment online where I had to fill out a form including my car Vin number basically a failsafe method. take note That online if you don't answer all the questions then you cannot submit the form so it will prompt you to go back and answer any questions that might have been overlooked, including the Vin number for my particular vehicle. Appointment was set two weeks after initial are form submit. One week prior to my appointment I received a message stating that my automobile glass was in. The day of the appointment arrived a little early to find that I was the only customer in at that time. And the majority of the employees were sitting behind the counter. In chairs, basically just talking amongst each other. Took my keys, pulled my car into the bay roughly 5 minutes later the service tech brought me back my keys and stated that they got the wrong auto glass for my vehicle. One of the service techs stated that they didn't get the last five digits of my Vin number, which could not have been correct because I would not have been able to submit the form and they would not have known what type of glass to get, especially if all the Vin number wasn't there but they had my make and model glass just the wrong one. I would have thought it would have been double checked when they gave me my courtesy call one week prior to my appointment letting me know my glass had arrived. Because like me, I don't live in that local town, and I had to travel quite a long ways to get there, so double checking to me should've been standard Procedure. Not only was just those mistakes made but I was also informed that my glass doubled in price from $400 to $800. Well, it's been a few months since then and I still have the same broken glass in my vehicle. That's my Safelite auto story.
