I haven't felt this gaslit, invalidated, and belittled since my last relationship! Went for a surgical consultation for an ongoing problem and was told that I didn't need surgery (Clearly I do, there is a surgery to fix my problem, that's literally why I was there) and to just use lotion instead(???) They then told me that a nurse would be in with papers for me to sign... and then left me in the examination room for an hour; after the person I came with asked someone at the front desk to send a nurse to see what was going on, said nurse who retrieved me tried to convince me that another nurse told me to leave (haha no) and there was just a "miscommunication"—which a really funny way of blaming me for their total lack of communication. AND THEN THEY CHARGED ME OVER $200. Um, hello, I have insurance for that? Or were your receptionists too busy committing identity fraud to fill out the paperwork?I'm just going to seek treatment in Pittsburgh; every hospital in north-central WV is worthless.

Worst experience I had in any hospital. Was in the ER for a severe ear infection. My pain was a 9 out of ten. I sat in the room for four hours with no medication. Doctor said they don't prescribe pain medication for ear infections. Even though I showed him that I Google what is prescribe for moderate to severe ear infections. Google listed oxycodone and hydrocodone for severe and moderate ear infections. Google says it's common practice to prescribe pain medication for moderate to severe ear infections. The doctor did prescribe me an antibiotic that no Pharmacy in the area even carries

Mon General is Always better than going to UHC and waiting for hours just to be seen to get a band aid I refuse wasting my time and money on UHC ever again!!

I wish I can give 0 stars this the worst hospital I been to didn’t even see a doctor they said I had a virus but I came in for chest pain and they sent me home they have a hole bunch of kids running these hospitals I didn’t have a blanket or a pillow I was freezing I ask for pain meds and they never came back in then nurse came back in with discharge papers.

The care was substandard and offensive. Not so much from the nursing staff but the Doctors and administrators were dismissive and treated my mother (the patient) with absolute disrespect.

The wait for the er was crazy I came in cause something happened and I got an ex ray. I been in pain and crying trying to get seen to see what happened but they don’t care like I guess Ruby sent people here that’s why it’s buys but it’s crazy to take people back before the ones with an emergency.

I love this hospital. After terrible experiences with Ruby, this hospital has honestly been a godsend.I was admitted for a few days in February and they were absolutely amazing. They’ve been great with getting me in for testing and their ER is always quick, comprehensive and pleasant. I love the providers there as they talk to you like a human and explain things vs acting like you are just a number and a paycheck. Can not say enough good things about this hospital.

They didn't turn my father at all, he was laying in his own urine for who knows how long, the staff is very lazy. They don't care about the patients, they just care about having time down. Shift changes happen at 6, the doctor makes every patient go to bed at 7, why? what does the doctor do with their free time? I will never recommend this place to anybody. Garbage.

Daughter was born 7/28/23, she came a little early. Nursing staff in the birthing center are amazing! So knowledgeable and caring. Thank you all for everything!

Was in the ER tonight for possible blood clot, turns out it was inflammation from an iv. The ER doctor I believe her name was Lindsay gave me a script for a antibiotic that I clearly said I was allergic to. She told me there is no such thing as being allergic to medication. She it is just side effects not allergic reactions. Just be aware of this doctor. She is going to cause serious harm!!

My granddaughter was brought there to be xrayed for a broken arm. It took until the next day to get the results. She was brought there because it was supposed to be faster with xrays than the other hospitals, well they sent her home with nothing, Finally her parents took her to an orthopedic Dr, GUESS What she had a broken arm! 2 weeks later!

Had to get polyp removed in OB. Nurse keep missing vein when putting IV in but wasn't smart enough to just move to the next one. I'm absolutely terrified of needles and ended up hyperventilating. Was told I was being dramatic as she continued to roll over the veins. Once out of surgery, its normal to feel like you have to pee. My bf had to basically demand them to let me use the bathroom, because they claimed i only felt a need, and that i didnt actually have to.I peed. Will never be back.

My father is in the CCU right now. He had open heart surgery and it has been one complication after another. I'm not blaming that on the staff, but this latest one was internal bleeding and me and my family have been in here for everything. Well walking in today to go to the CCU waiting room we were treated like garbage by the woman at the front desk. Treating us like we shouldn't be here. I am very disappointed and upset. My father has been in this place since Easter. So almost a month. He had open heart surgery, then he had to deal with an infection, then pneumonia and now bleeding. He lost a lot of blood in one night. His hemoglobin was at 4. My family is a close knit family and we love our dad with all our hearts and we want to be here for him until we get him home. We don't need some rude woman at the front desk treating us like we are an inconvenience to her for being here. If she doesn't like her job then she needs to quit. She definitely doesn't need to be working in a job that requires her to interact with other people.

The doctor and nursing staff in the ICU was very friendly and helpful. The gift shop was full of unique finds as well as tried and true goodies, snacks, and needful things. The ladies in the gift shop were extremely helpful in suggesting gift items for a patient. I highly recommend the Moon Health Gift Shop.
