“I can't tell you how great this place is. People who actually know what they're talking about (and what you're talking about!) People who actually care if you get what you're looking for and try and make themselves available to help.I looked around Home Depot, Lowe's & Fastenall for some, what I thought was, basic hardware. No one had it. I tried Heistons as a last resort and from here on out they will be my FIRST stop every time. If you're serious about trying to get the right stuff the first time just start here. Seriously. Plus it's local and unbelievably reasonably priced!”

“Canning stuff in stock! The man and the woman there were super nice and helped me find what I was lo ok king for. They had the 1/2 gallon Ball jars for less than half the price of amazon. I'll be back, thank you!”

“What a great campground! Neat and clean and well kept and very affordable. The bathrooms are nice and clean with showers, there is a pavilion to eat under, both primitive and RV camping (full hookups) as well as a lodge to stay in and rent for events. Great fishing on Buffalo Creek and great for kids to play in. The best part of the place is Bruce, the camp host who goes out of his way to make you comfortable and treats you like family (like all good West Virginian’s do)… He can even tell you where the fish are and is a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding Elk River Trail. Remember this place as the Elk River Trail system continues to expand and develop.”

“OMG it's a paint store, a hardware store AND a post office. How convenient. My husband got lost for 45 mins in this store, checking out some of the more hard to find paint options (like the 1776 color collection) and chatting with the folks behind the counter. I love the convenience of a post office and paint store, and the fact that they have a useful selection of hardware (and even some essentials like toilet paper) is awesome. This is an old school shop, and perfect for DIYers to come get what they need to rehab furniture and stock their workshops. We'll be stopping in again next time we're in town!”

“If I could give 10 stars I would. Paula, Dustin & Josh were so wonderful to work with and their work was great! Instead of replacing a whole bay window on my house, they were able to change out the pains and saved me thousands of dollars. The old panes had become so foggy that I couldn't see out of them. Only took Dustin & Josh about an hour to replace 4 window panes in the front bay window and a pain from a house window. I didn't even know you could do that! Thank you so much for all your help!!”

“Can't believe all of the negative reviews on here. Must be Karens or Kens expecting 1960's one to one old time service. Pick up a newspaper or watch the news; it's no longer 1960's and these employees are not your verbal punching bags! Couldn't believe what I was hearing standing behind these entitled adults. Guy in front of me literally yelled and berated a young salesgirl because HE wanted to return an old used nasty mower with no receipt. Lord knows how old it was. Put her in tears. Calling her names. There's no sense in that! Do better Ken! Meanwhile, because she's dealing with a Ken, she's unable to answer the phone. Neither was her coworker who was dealing with a Karen trying to return a bunch of items from Home Depot. Unreal customers! These customers think they're entitled. No wonder people don't want to work in retail. Stay home Karen and Ken! My return went smooth. I followed policy, had my receipt and they were very kind to me. Thanked me for my business.”

“Chaz in the appliance section is awesome(: he had all the answers and went above and beyond to make sure they had the washer and dryer we needed. Lowe’s is lucky to have him.”
