The customer service was very poor! I have never felt comfortable shopping there, especially with one particular sales guy with a beard. After deciding to skip the dress I tried on today, his passive-aggressive attitude left a really bad taste in my mouth. I will never shop with them again!

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with an employee named Michael P. I heard him make multiple unprofessional comments that lead me to make this review. I found myself to be very uncomfortable in the store and almost left. He seemed to have entitled behavior and does not work well with others. I was honestly in shock about some of the comments he made to his coworkers. However, I was really impressed with the service I received from Ali on this day. Which is the only reason I have a 2/5 stars instead of a 1/5. He was well informed on all of the brands in the store and helped me in the women and men's sides.

I'm a new Escape Outdoors customer and I'm really happy with their customer service from Joe. I was online shopping for Cyber Monday and needed some help with a few orders. An email request for a price adjustment for one order was answered within 30 minutes. My phone call for help to change a return to an exchange was also handled promptly by Joe - an actual person, not a machine. This store has a great product selection. I was able to find a popular jacket in the color and size I needed, which was either more expensive or sold out elsewhere. Escape Outdoors helped me make someone's Christmas wish come true and their excellent customer support made me feel like my money was well spent.

Sales associate profiled and followed me in the store, hovering, but never spoke to me offering any assistance so it wasn’t as though he was trying to help. When cashing out he didn’t bother acknowledging or speaking to me either. Will never return. Majority of the stuff you see here you could get at REI or find something comparable at North Face next door.

I've been here twice and the experiences were night and day.First time was a couple years ago when the parental unit couldn't find what he wanted at North Face so we impulsively came to Escape Outdoors. Not only did he find an Arc'teryx jacket he really likes, but the employee really went above and beyond to answer questions, including hopping online to get some answers. It was a really great experience to the point we went out of our way to come here again a couple weeks ago.It was awful. We were welcomed quickly by basically every employee in the store, which was 4 or 5 people. I've known my dad my entire life (harr harr) so I know what styles he's looking for and got to helping him scope out some products. We were asked if we needed help SO MANY TIMES!!! It's to the point I personally felt harassed. Need help? No, thank you. If you need a fitting room let me know. Okay, thank you. Are you guys doing well? Yes, thank you. Would you like me to hold those items while you continue to shop? No, thank you. Repeat ad nauseam. It got to the point I gave the employee the death glare and he apologized, but continued to do it anyway. OMG I would have happily walked out right then and there, but alas the parental unit was happy with his findings and ended up spending several hundred dollars. I originally was going to look in the ladies' section for some clothing for myself, but after all that? I'm never stepping foot in this store again - it's exhausting!

Ordered a Canada Goose jacket online. Not living in WA, I called the store and asked if the SA could take some pictures of the jackets I was interested in. She couldnt have been nicer and took several pictures and took time to go over both jackets I was looking at. The jacket came within 2 working days and was packaged very nice.

My husband and I had a great experience today with the help of David and other staff at Escape Outdoors. We were assisted in purchasing much needed post Covid clothing and jackets. The staff was patience in finding the best styles and correct sizes.We were delighted with our new look and the updated clothes. No pressure, just professional assistance. Thank you!

I ordered a Kuhl shirt from the online store and when I received it I removed the tags and wore the shirt. While I was wearing it I noticed two spots on the front pockets that were from the manufacturer. I contacted the company and they said they cannot return it without the tags. I contacted Kuhl and they were more than happy to return the product. This company forgot how to treat a customer. Will not shop with them again.

After Canada goose cancelled my order for my wife's birthday present, I ordered from here and being in Tacoma it showed up the very next day less then 24 hours later right on time for her birthday !!!

I’m pretty disappointed in my experience here. My husband and I were visiting this store for the first time, interested in their selection of Patagonia and Arc’teryx. Upon entering the store, we were not welcomed by any of the employees. Instead, the older male employee followed us from rack to rack, not saying anything, just watching us. We walked in with a lululemon bag and that was it. It made us incredibly uncomfortable and made us unfortunately not want to purchase anything. We ended going across to The North Face where we were greeted and treated like guests. Please don’t visit this store dressed casually or you’ll be profiled by the employees.
