I recently completed the level one dog training course with Jeri-Lyn and enjoyed it so much. She is a joy to watch with dogs and an amazing teacher. I feel much better prepared to develop a positive and cooperative relationship with my dog. Through the course, I also learned to approach other dogs with more care and respect. I am looking forward to learning more in future courses. I also took my dog for a meet and greet to see if he'd be ok in the doggie daycare. The staff gave me great advice about how to set him up for success. I was surprised and impressed that the person facilitating the meet and greet knew each of the dogs names and personalities. The facility is clean, you can watch the dogs on livestream, and everyone I have met there is kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

I reviewed them last year after boarding our dogs, but apparently it was removed? We boarded our dogs a little over a week for boarding and daycare. Our big guy came home with a cough that staff said "started yesterday" he was beyond lethargic and coughing up yellow sputum. I had to take him to an urgent vet, diagnosed with pneumonia. His chest xray was completed whited out (should be clear) bc his lungs were filled with fluid. He needed IV fluids, IV antibiotics and IV diuretics before being cleared to come home on oral antibiotics and diuretics. It took him days before he started to turn around.I reached out to the manager and was told "this happens with boarding sometimes" which I understand... but I was lied to by the staff. There is no way that severe of a pneumonia develops in 1-2 days. If he had stayed longer, would they have taken him.to see a medical professional or let him suffer and possibly die there?I had felt comfortable taking him there for daycare and boarding. But never again. Agter looking back, they have way more dogs in daycare than any other facility ive taken dogs to. Which then translates to hugher transmission of disease.I hope this helps someone else make a better informed decision.

Our small, anxious dog is usually shy and aloof with other dogs at daycare, but she’s made some friends and bonded with the staff. Now she gets excited when we pull up to drop her off. And she gets plenty of exercise, too.

They took such good care of our neurotic old Corgi when we were out of town for 2 weeks. Highly, highly recommend. With every cent, and a tip as well.

Training class- wasn't what we expected, we dropped out. It was incredibly basic. Our dog went in knowing how to sit, lay down and let us walk around her. We dropped out and were refunded. I stated our goals to both, Dawn the manager, who enrolled our puppy, as well as Angie our trainer on orientation evening. Clearly they weren't actually listening. There's 4 classes the first is for just the owners- that meeting should've been an email. It wasn't an efficient use of our time. There was a hand out, which should've been an attachment. We were very disappointed, with the course and the facility. The smell is awful, It's the type of place you change your clothes as soon as you get home and throw your clothes in the washer.. Many things happen in the first 2 classes, we were sheeted- literally had to sit behind a sheet because our dog wanted to look at the other dogs. * the other dogs weren't sheeted. Angie would put the sheet up before anyone else ever arrived, just assuming our pup would want to look at the other dogs, which she did. After Angie was done with the course, that was the best part of the entire experience. I had heard Positive Approach, once was the gold standard. It's not that way any longer. We were offered a 1 hour private course, but lacked confidence that it would've been more than a waste of time. It was a bad experience & we didn't finish. We had high hopes, and thought that perhaps we would allow our pup to go to day care. That changed after reading the reviews and our experience. Our trainer would've had to go thru a dog personality assessment. I already felt based upon our short experience that would've been the wrong way for us to go. Had I taken the time to read the reviews we wouldn't have ever went. Sadly I can't give this place more than 1 star. It's my guess that, refunding our money was a last ditch effort to not get a low scoring review, but I wish I had known what this was going to be like. I wish that either Dawn, or Angie, had listened to what we wanted to accomplish- can't recommend this course or facility.

This would be the second time I've used there service and I'm totally disappointed with the results and considering how much is spent on grooming you expect simple request to be followed like how short the hair should be cut so if your looking to get your pet groomed at this place be sure to have things in writing that way there's recourse for any mistakes made.

I boarded my dog for the first time with Positive Approach, and was so very happy with my experience there! The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions, and followed up with me to let me know how Kida was doing during her stay there because I am a worried dog mom. Will definitely be using Positive Approach for my doggie daycare and boarding needs!

Alora was an amazing trainer! Our Australian Shepard Kylo, was able to learn so many tricks and is such a good boy. She was able to teach him things in less than 10 minutes that I struggled to train him on myself! If you are looking for dog training, Alora is the one!
