Charge nurse “Jamie”
Clearly stated she’s going to make the doctors decision to not refill a non narcotic after refusing to send information to provider! Highly illegal. She’s a charge nurse not a doctor! After having to insist to send info to provider she hangs up stating she’ll put in the complaints I have! Which I had no compliments other than to pass information to provider the one licensed to make importing health decisions! Very unprofessional and most of all not obeys laws she’s abided to for people health! She also says she’s put in the complaint smirking as if she’s putting in bad notes for the future of my husbands health care. Please speak. Someone like this should not be in charge!

My husband ended up at this urgent care following a minor motorcycle accident. The staff could not have been more efficient, professional, or kind. There was virtually no wait and they had him back for X-rays in no time. A broken leg is never good news but I am so thankful for the help received at this urgent care!

I'm not one to give reviews and typically when I do they are bad but I just wanted to say that everyone I worked with here was very kind I didn't catch everyone's name but doctor page was awsome and I got in and out very quickly and professionally.

I think Providence urgent care is the best for myself and husband. They always show they care by listening and letting me know what they will have to do. I have never had any problems with them. Thank you everyone at Providence Urgent care , you are awesome!❤️?

the front desk and nurse were very nice and welcoming. they seemed to be very helpful and apologetic about the pain i was in. the doctor however was extremely cold and un welcoming right off the bat. her first words were “so i’m gonna tell you how this is going to work”. she had zero sympathy for the teenager crying in pain infront of her. she kept contradicting herself in what she could and could not do like saying she could do it and then acting like i was crazy for bringing it up again and saying she would never do it. she even joked about how much money she made while i laid in the bed crying. overall terrible experience, i left sobbing because of her treatment. i’ve gone to this urgent care for years and now i will never be back because of how this doctor treated me.

This place was amazing! I had an incident at work and I needed a blood draw and tetanus shot. I went here right away, they got me in super fast! Everyone was really nice and the blood draw and shot were painless! I am horrible with needles but they made the experience great and super easy! I was genuinely shocked when neither needles hurt. They do their jobs very well!

I was seen by Dr Todd Ewert at the Spokane Valley Providence urgent care. I have to say it was the worst experience I have ever had there in the 8 years I have been a patient and literally left the urgent care in tears.
I was told I have an acute upper respiratory infection, and was discussing with the doctor my allergies and explained I can only take 1 type of antibiotic. (Never did he look at my chart to confirm or look at my medical history)
This doctor didn’t want to hear anything I was telling him. He elevated his voice, got aggressive, rudely crossed his arms and told me this antibiotic can cause other health issues, and if it did my insurance would not pay for treatment.
I replied I understand the risk.
He then said he would prescribe it and stepped out of the room. He returned 5 minutes later just furious ( his hands were shaking) Refusing to prescribe, yelling at me, not offering any other options just handed me the discharge paper to leave. Never tested for strep, flu, RSV or Covid and sent me away without treatment for the infection.
I work in the medical field myself and have for over 35 years. To be treated with such disrespect when you’re there because you’re sick and seeking help is just wrong.
Such a non empathetic caregiver serving our community, and he broke the cardinal rule of to first”due no harm”.
I hope that Providence will make sure another patient will not be made to feel so disrespected as I did today!!
