I began my search for a GSD breeder over a year in advance of purchase. My search included several one on one interviews with VW clients past and present, each commenting on the sound health and even temperament of the pups they adopted and the support they had received along the way to the present. During the two months prior to the actual adoption we were traveling overseas. At my request, Kate sent us regular video updates of the litter from which we would eventually select our pup. Kate and staff have answered dozens and dozens of questions over the course of my numerous visits to the facility as I became familiar with their boarding, grooming and training services. Since our purchase, the support from VW has been absolutely phenomenal! The training program conducted in their first rate facility by Frank and Zach has been excellent. There is no other facility that I would consider to board my pup where I know the kennels are maintained to the highest degree of industry standards.

I am very picky on who I trust my German Shepherd with. She is a Czech German Shepherd, and has high anxiety. She's the sweetest girl but can appear intimidating to those inexperienced with her breed. We did a pre-boarding meeting before boarding my dog and Bryan immediately made us very comfortable with his and the rest of the staffs knowledge of GSDs. When we brought my dog to visit the owner, Kate, took my dog with confidence and my dog was at ease and trusting of Kate. We have boarded her twice, once a short few days and a second time for 7 days. My dog always returns happy and looking very healthy. We drive quite a bit out of our way to board our dog here, but it is worth it to put her with someone we trust.

Our Misha is 2 yr old now. She is my very first GSD, when she was a puppy, everyone had impressed that how gorgeous she is. Now she is healthy, beautiful, naturally sweet and unbelievable smart, she can learn every tricks and command very quick if she want.I admire the VWK's breeding skills and I also appreciate a serious of follow up service that their friendly and knowledgeable onsite staff had provided, including free puppy classes, consulting over phone/email/office and boarding.If have to complain about something, that is I never received her document as promised. However, Misha is so brilliant which make bloodline staff not even matter. I'll keep in touch with this kennel for my next GSD puppy.

Training is very good. Boarding is a little pricy(probably average for the area though) but fine. They give your dog a bath and nail trim before you pick the dog up. Show up at least 30 minutes AFTER your scheduled pickup. I’ve shown up on time/early and every time my dog is still a bit wet. Needs another 30m in the blowdry crate. And yet, i never learn that lesson

We’ve had a outstanding experience across the board with Von Waldberg. Kate and her team have been wonderful to work with from day one and we feel like they genuinely care not only about their dogs but also about finding good homes for these amazing animals. We brought our pup home in January and he has been nothing short of exceptional. He’s extremely sweet, very smart and at almost nine months old now is blossoming into quite the physical specimen too! We’ve been training with Frank for several months which has been a great experience as well. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Von Waldberg to anyone who’s serious about owning a German Shepherd.

Our 6-year old German Shepherd was born at Von Waldberg so of course we would trust no one other than Von Waldberg to board her when we travel, and we have since she was a puppy. We recently added a Golden Retriever to our family and we board him at Von Waldberg as well! Both are happy staying there. Beautiful facilities, including access to an on-call vet if needed; an amazing offering of grooming and training services, but the most comforting has been the professional, nurturing and experienced staff, especially Kate the owner and Bryan the facilities and training manager. The staff, the breeding, the training and the facilities are exceptional!

We purchased our dog from Von Walberg in 2014. He was imported from Germany. He is still in great health and is a smart and loyal working dog. He has had no health issues. We regularly board him there, for up to a month at a time. The facility is clean, he always comes home freshly bathed and has never come home sick or with parasites. Highly recommend their boarding services and they will provide board and train if your doggy needs some obedience work. The new owners are amazing and have made some real improvements to the facility.

We highly recommend Von Waldberg German Shephards! Our dog has great temperament, very smart and playful. Kate, the owner is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Eli has been amazing helping us train our dog to be a great family companion. We board our dog with them whenever we travel, knowing they will take good take care of her. We are very grateful to be part of the bigger Von Waldberg German Shephard family :)

I cannot recommend Von Waldberg German Shepherds enough! My family got our German Shepherd puppy from them and it has been an amazing experience from start to finish.The owner, Kate, and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and provided us with all the information we needed. They were always available to answer our questions and gave us tips on how to care for our new puppy.The training classes and trainers at Von Waldberg are top tier.I highly recommend Von Waldberg German Shepherds. They truly care for their dogs and it shows in the happy, healthy, and well-trained dogs they produce.

We could not be happier!! If you are looking for a new German Shepherd or are looking for training you have to check this place out. They have a world class training facility and Eli (the dog trainer) is extremely knowledgable and talented. He has a great curriculum and will teach you everything you need to know to train a great dog!

I've known Kate and the amazing team at VWGS for over three years now. We did a ton of research in preparation for selecting not just a breeder, but a partner, in adopting, training, caring for and raising our dog. This organization feels like extended family to us now. Everything from making sure we adopted a great match for our family, preparing and educating us for the journey, and being our trusted partner in our dog's training and care. The facilities are world class. Our dog LOVES boarding and training there (maybe even more than he loves being with us!). We live a busy life with 2 little kids and we simply could not be the dog family we are without their support. I cannot thank them enough and highly recommend this impeccably and thoughtfully run organization.
