Today I was at this nursery checking out with a cart full of plants. The older women checking me out was incredibly rude to me. I’ve been coming to this nursery for years and have recommended it to several friends. I have never had a bad experience there. It actually feels like heaven when I’m there.
She was so rude I’m not sure I will ever return.
I wish I would have confronted her but I was so shocked I couldn’t say anything but just pay and get out of there.

Such a beautiful nursery! Tons of variety. Parking was easy and sufficient. Enjoyed exploring with my mom and her walker, grounds are wheelchair accessible. Staff was knowledgeable and helped me pick plants for fall planting. I'm currently in a rental house so I wanted to keep costs down. We were able to get what I needed to fill a garden bed and stay within my budget. (Last pic is my garden bed at home that I filled for under $40, with the exception of the 2 white flower bunches on each corner end.) Highly recommended.

Mcauliff is a dog -friendly area and all the dogs must be on-leash,while the owner has a teddy puppy, who is reactive and aggressive. She made the dog offleash, barking and chasing my on-leash pup. When I asked her to put her dog on leash and informed her that this would be safe for both of the puppies. She was very rude, telling me that they live here,in an arrogant tone. Lmao. SO WHAT?! What a stupid owner and how you could be so rude to guests? What an attitude to run a business OMG.
Later, I confirmed with another gardener there that McAuliffe is Definitely NOT an OFF-LEASH AREA! Dogs are welcome and should behave well. The gardener apologized to me for this rude owner and I really appreciated this lady's kindness and professionalism . The owner should act as a professional businesswoman, setting the rule and following the rule as a role model. Be humble and polite, pls :)

Disappointed with the response from the owner. I’ve called on 3 different occasions during the past few months, asking if particular plants were available. The person always took my number and said they would call me back. They never did. My husband and I purchased a Japanese Bloodgood Maple, they marked it as sold and told us we could pick it up at anytime. We went back a week later and to our surprise, it was gone. I spoke to the owner today about my concerns. Her curt response was, “we’re not a good fit for every customer.” WOW! Whatever happened to an apology and providing good customer service. It is non-existent at McAuliffe’s Nursery.

Fantastic nursery, open year round. Just picked up winter flowers. Super helpful staff! I needed to replace some plants that died. I asked a lady where their burning bushes were. Upon seeing them I was concerned. She offered to look up on my purchases to find what I bought! In 2021 I had purchased a type of low profile nandina. We went to that one and sure enough it was an exact match! Just another reason why I love this place.

Best nursery in the area! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Arrived with not really knowing what kind of tree we want to have and left with the perfect tree for our yard. Indoor plants, pots and decoration are great too.

After a pleasant drive out to McAuliffe’s Valley Nursery, I was very impressed with how clean, organized and well maintained the grounds were. From the moment I entered the parking lot, I was efficiently directed to a parking space and easily followed the path to the nursery. There was a wide selection of flowers, shrubs, trees and plants to choose from, all neatly displayed with charming touches throughout the grounds.
It was peaceful walking through the greenhouses and outdoor spaces with surprises around each bend. I loved the Japanese inspired garden, the beautiful flowering cherry and crabapple trees and a wide selection of Japanese maples. There are lots of annuals and perennials to add to your landscape for seasonal updates. They even have a “flea market” hut that points to a few sale items. It was a whimsical way to feature a clearance section.
The Garden Center has a lovely selection of pottery and gift items in a nicely designed space. With several customer service locations and friendly staff, checkout is a fast and pleasant experience. Carts and carry boxes are strategically placed for easy access.
My intent was to purchase several bacopa plants for my Spring pots. Mission accomplished and more. Now that my local Woodinville nursery has closed, I was glad that I ventured out to explore McAuliffe’s Nursery. It was worth the visit!
