I usually have good experiences at this post office but last Wednesday was different.I arrived a few minutes after 6pm and entered the line to pick up a package. After waiting in line for several minutes, the very lady behind the desk raised her voice and addressed me aggressively, telling me I arrived after closing time and I needed to leave. Before I even had a chance even say “ok” and head towards the door, she continued “We are done here. If you have a problem you can talk to my supervisor”I was taken aback to be spoken to so rudely. I avoid confrontation and was almost in tears to have someone speak to me as if I had started an argument when I hadn’t said a word. I didn’t even realise I was late or the post office had closed.Advice to managers: Please work with your employees on how to politely communicate and enforce opening hours. What I experienced was unacceptable

I've gone to this post office three times in the past two months. And every time someone has been so helpful with selecting the correct packaging or finding packages. I used to dread going to the post office, but this has been a pleasant and quick service every time! This post office should be the gold standard for the rest of them.

Paid $50 in 9/22 to have the lock changed on my condo mailbox. After a year of typical government inaction and no replacement, in 9/23 I went to a locksmith for a lock mechaism and put it in myself. Now they are playing the "shell game" in delaying to give me my money back as of 2/24.

Disappointed with my experience at this USPS location. I was supposed to receive a very important overnight package, but it didn’t arrive next day when I really needed it. This location is running kinda scam where they scan packages delivered but they are not, I think this is to not trigger the system to get customer refunds due to guaranteed money back policy. I had to go to the location twice to inquire about an overnight package that delivered three days later. You can’t get anyone to pick up the phone as well.

My packages have always arrived safely at their destination after I’ve shipped them from here. It’s also a good place to go to if you’re looking to be punished by innumerable small humiliations. You can wait in a long line and then when your time comes, the clerks will utter something gnomic and oracular like “where’s the QR code?” or “wrong box” or “needs more tape” before invariably sending you to the back of the line for another round of penance. After a few cycles of this, you can leave with the knowledge that your package is safely in route and you’ll have some postal service riddles to chew on until the next time you come. I don’t enjoy it, but I think it must be good for me.

Made a claim on a package that is now two weeks past delivery date with zero updates. Finally get a response on this claim today in a voicemail where “John” says to call them back and he will email me. The callback number doesn’t work and he didn’t email me so I cannot get back to them. Cannot begin to describe my frustration with this place.

Whenever I had to visit their employees were friendly and efficient, not sure why they get so much hate. Just make sure you go during working hours - which are limited and inconvenient tbh hence minus one star.

Avoid this post office for your mail needs. Outgoing mail faces delays, and crucial items often arrive late due to issues with upper management, especially the Seattle postmaster, not the carriers themselves. The constant turnover of mail carriers, along with my doorbell camera capturing a carrier being berated by their manager on the phone, highlights the stress mail carriers must deal with on a daily basis. I intend to share this doorbell footage incident on social media soon if I don’t post it, it’s because I want to protect the privacy of that poor mailman. He was clearly going through enough. The unprofessional behavior likely stems from disorganized and unethical management, contributing to the decline of the post office over a decade. While this location may be convenient, consider alternative post offices for really important needs to sidestep the hassles experienced here. There’s been historically years of problems here.

The Wallingford PO supervisor is an absolute saint; John helped track down my wayward package - an item that would be terribly difficult to replace and had somehow been delivered to a random post office box in Issaquah. I've never never lived in Issaquah, and have rarely visited, so I was definitely freaking out (some might say I was a tad operatic - sorry, John! I'd had a glass or two of prosecco that evening!) But working with the folks at the Issaquah PO, John got my package to me in just a few days time (over a weekend, no less!). The package was addressed correctly, so its trip to Issaquah is still a bit of a mystery, but that's okay. The USPS is such an important civic institution and I love having such positive interactions with them - thank you!

Alright, let me tell ya about this local post office. People... they love to give the post office a hard time. But, here's the thing: it's always consistent. You know what you're gonna get. The folks behind the counter? Yeah, they might be a little cranky, but have you taken a look at that line? It's like a zoo in there. People? Impatient. Rude. Just plain grouchy. If you're getting cranky waiting in that line, well, maybe try showing up a bit earlier. Avoid the circus. Because let's be honest, no one wants to deal with slow, cranky folks in line. The post office? It's just doing its thing. Cut them some slack.

They're blatantly inept, and even when they realize it, they genuinely don't care. At all. Lost packages regularly. Packages delivered to the wrong address regularly (blocks away). Rude and unhelpful attitude when asking for help resolving their mistakes. Most of the time they're not found (literally still waiting on the 'update' I was promised over 2 years ago on the investigation they opened on my first lost package). I would go on for pages about how bad this specific post office is- truly an embarrassment. The postmaster at this location should be ashamed.

There is a tiny 3 spot parking lot to run packages in. Construction around closest street.

The USPS wallingford supervisor is incredibly rude. Less than a week ago, I bought 150 dollars worth of the wrong envelopes to my office, so I tried to return it today. The supervisor was so rude! She stated they could not take it back and dismissed me. I left the store and looked but at the USPS website and learned it could’ve been exchanged. Idk how the exchange works I’ll have to call the customer service to learn about that. But as a store supervisor she should know how it works and given me that option.

Try not to make the mistake of dropping a Fedex box in the bin. It could cause a long delay, but the package got there.
