I would absolutely avoid ordering from this place. It has been a poor, distasteful experience from start to finish. The salesperson on the floor was rude and snobbish when we first visited to shop. They needlessly pressured us to buy immediately. We placed an order over the phone for store pickup and were misled on the directions for loading the item into our car. When we finally arrived, the backdoor bell wasn't answered. Upon calling the store to inform them we were present, we were asked to wait because the person responsible for loading was not available —despite us calling an hour earlier and providing the exact time we'd be there. Overall, a poor experience buying from this store.

I had high expectations of the brand Pottery Barn and ordered first product for my daughter which is their Pottery Barn kids anywhere chair.
I called the store and placed an order explaining clearly that name to be printed on the chair and asked them size of chair suggestion too
Got my order delivered after around 2 weeks
1. 2 inserts were ordered but I asked for 1 insert
2. Monogram was missing on the cover but I clearly spelt the name
3. Size of the chair is too small for my daughter, its not made for 15 months baby.
I called them back told about the order, Kathy spoke nicely, suggested us to pick insert from store and slipcover will be delivered. Thank you
1. Insert we picked from store when we reached home and checked the sponge in it is very dirty, it has dust everywhere and color faded
2. Got slipcover with monogram delivered but color of the monogram is not as I ordered, I ordered white letters but I got same color letters as slipcover which is making it hardly visible.
Highly disappointed with the service and product.

My husband and I went to this store and no one greeted us or asked if we needed help while there for 15 minutes. We then received help from a younger associate, who was patient and made sure to answer our questions. When she wasn’t sure of something, she asked one of her older coworkers, and he seemed very annoyed to assist. Her other coworkers (who were likely twice her age), seemed very disrespectful of her by grabbing things around/under the computer without even a simple “excuse me” or acknowledging that they were disrupting her service to us as customers as the associate was putting together a quote.
The vibe we got from the older employees there was very poor and they didn’t seem to want to even be there.

Very unhelpful staff! I stood at the register to get my online order and despite having 5 different employees standing not attending to any customers, not a single one acknowledged that I was standing there. 3 of the 5 even made eye contact with me. First and last time I enter that store!

Hello, I am disappointed with Pottery Barn Kids. On March 10, 2024, I made a large purchase on the website with furniture, decorations and various items for my baby's room. The deadline for the 2 items that took the longest to arrive was May 11. Even with some delays, the day arrived to deliver the nursing chair and the ottoman (the ones that were missing). The delivery people arrived with only the chair without knowing about the ottoman. They called PBK and said that it was defective and that they would send a new one. Since then, I have been waiting for the ottoman for months. I tracked the order and it was delayed... they even generated new order numbers, new requests, I went into the chat to try to resolve and understand what was happening many times. Until June 30, I decided to request the cancellation and refund of this ottoman worth more than $500.00. They informed me that they could not, I knew when I bought it, but when I bought it, the maximum delivery date was May 11. Since they didn't meet the deadline and there was also all the confusion regarding information and lack of commitment to the customer, I think it's only fair that they accept the cancellation and refund. Since June 30th, I've been on the chat every week because they say they'll contact me with a response about the cancellation request and still nothing. A month ago, I bought an ottoman from another store that arrived in a week, since they couldn't even give me an answer at the time. Now they want to deliver it to me, after all this... and they keep asking me to wait for the supervisor's response about the cancellation and refund. As a customer, I think it's only fair that the company didn't meet the May deadline, and today it's August... not to mention all the times I've contacted them looking for answers and every time they say they'll contact me with the answer and nothing, they still don't resolve the issue. I hope they resolve the issue and have more commitment to their customers, because the company has beautiful, quality products, but their relationship with the customer leaves a lot to be desired.

I made the trip here to the only PB Kids store in the Seattle area to have my children try on backpacks before ordering new (to us) sizes online. We were super disappointed to find that they don't carry all the size offerings of their backpacks in the store. I only saw the small, large, and extra large. If you're looking for the adaptive (for special needs) or the roller models, you're stuck only ordering online and not getting to handle them in person first. The only PB Teen items they have in the store appear to be bedding so if you want those backpacks or accessories you can only get them online. The employees seemed at a loss for how to help with their on-hand inventory issues, but tried to accommodate us the best they could.

This place is expensive - you can find the same product online for cheaper. Also if you buy stuff here, you have to return it at the same store, no other PB will take it. That's not very convenient at all :(

My husband and I were approached 3 times within 10 minutes of entering the store and each sales associate persistently asked if we needed help. We had to repeatedly respond that we were browsing around and not looking for something specific. The second sales lady bluntly asked if we were expecting. We responded not yet and she loudly responded by saying “so you two are only dreaming of becoming parents”. We immediately felt uncomfortable and didn’t decide to stay long after but as we approached the door, she loudly said “come back when your dream becomes a reality”. This felt very inconsiderate and condescending and her tone of voice was beyond rude. We did not feel like we were being treated as customers, and it felt as if it was shameful to shop at a baby store when we were not expecting. I could not imagine how this would have felt for someone who was having a hard time with fertility. I couldn’t catch the name of the worker but due to this negative customer service experience, we will not be returning for baby items/furniture.

Thank you Heidi!!! I needed a Dino Bones nap mat to match my soon to be preschoolers set.(no longer available online) I live in FL. Heidi was able to find it in their store and get it shipped to me. She was also so professional and genuine. Amazing customer service, thank you so much!!! I can’t wait to get to use this for my child to have a matching set for school.

Went into PBK to browse sale Christmas items, as I had my eye on the Charlie Brown set they released this year. I walked in and most employees seemed busy so I wasn’t greeted which is absolutely fine. I walked a bit more into the store and encountered a woman who greeted a couple, locked eyes with me and just walked by. I saw the sheets, but the prices weren’t clearly marked so I decided I would look online or try a different day. As I walked by the register the same woman who I locked eyes with so enthusiastically greeted a woman entering the store asking her if she was shopping for anything special or had a specific item. Both of us were dressed similarly in athleisure gear and the other difference I could tell is that this woman is white and I am not. As I browsed I noticed so many children’s books by black authors with black kids on the covers, yet you ignore your black customers? PBK inclusivity is about more than the books in your store. Won’t be returning here.

Absolute worst customer experience of my life.. Purchased a $59 toy stroller for my niece for Christmas online but with store-pickup (64 miles round trip). Come Christmas Day, the stroller handle was torn up. I had to make my second trip out there, 64 additional miles, and waited an hour to get a replacement ordered. I assumed the replacement would be shipped to my house, but it was ordered to the store. So in order to get this $59 stroller, I would have to make three 64 mile trips (192 miles total) to get it, plus I waited an hour in the store while the associate was figuring out how to get a replacement and called customer service for an additional 30 minutes to see if they could ship it instead. They weren’t able to help and I wasn’t offered anything, besides paying the shipping myself if I want the stroller. Big waste of time for a small purchase. You lost a customer in me.

I am surprised by so many negative reviews at this location. My experience was the total opposite. I had a complex situation to deal with, which was not even begun with the store but an online order. When I called the store and talked with Simon, they took as long time as needed to figure it out for me. When I went to the store for a return and exchange, the store staff and a manager were as wonderful as Simon. As a result, I am really happy with my experience with the store, and I have no problem recommending the place.

Bought a $2000 rocking chair for my wife to nurse a baby and after 4 months a large bolt fell out the bottom. I don't mind repairing myself, but there was a spacer missing. So I called to see if they could send me one. They suggested I go to a local hardware store. After pressing a bit, they agreed to mail me a bottom assembly for the chair. Nice, right? Well, it is scheduled to arrive in 3.5-4 months. I guess we're just supposed to make due until then. Normally I wouldn't complain about this type of thing but $2000 is a lot of money to put down on a piece of furniture so I expect more quality. Don't send me things that fall apart, and if it does fall apart put some effort into fixing it. This business does not care about their customers and I hope you all find one that does.
