Great place for loud neighbors. The manager couldn't care less

The noise is insane! Neighbors partying loudly till 1-2am. Dude with a red motorcycle revs it soooo loud at random times throughout the day. Can never reach the site manager or her boss for noise complaint. Called the parent company and complained about the noise and nothing happened… DO NOT RECOMMEND. If I can give negative stars I would.

Just giving one star coz I have to write the review. Contacted for 1 bed 1 bath apartment. I booked an appointment for tour for Saturday and 1 day before on Friday property manager bailey called me and said she had to cancel the appointment coz she has to go to portland.i said ok I will call you again to setup for tour. And again I called her yesterday saying that I can do live remote tour and she said ok I will call you after 2 3 hours and show you the apartment. But till now no call no tour and I tried to reach her but call was going in voicemail. If this is how they treat people then thank God I didn't rent there and not even going to rent after seeing this behavior.

5 Star Review. Here's why... For starters my husband and I moved into the North Link apartment back in 2019. I had just given birth to my premature twins and we needed to act fast to getting them situated. We originally were working with previous management "Sophie" and NEVER HAD AN ISSUE. When staying in the north building we did have a few incidents with the disposal, but maintenance came every time to help. When new management arrived "Bailey", things got even better we were able to work with a new maintenance man who Finally did the job and fixed it permanently. After a 12 month lease ended, we decided to move into to the south building. Since we needed more space for my kiddos. It was a smooth transition and we were able to get the job done in 24 hours. They have been very understanding we have been able to continue great communication over the years. Thank you for being able to work with us and finding a place for my family!

DO NOT RENT HERE. Where do I begin? First, they advertise the units as recently remodeled. These "remodeled" units just had lipstick put on a pig. A kitchen cabinet door fell off the first time I opened it. The washer and dryer are TINY and old enough to vote. They also didn't work properly for the first several months after moving in. Good luck using any cooking devices in the kitchen as the smoke detectors go off from just opening the oven. The hallways echo of smoke detectors going off constantly from every unit. Speaking of the hallways, I lost count of how many times I saw dog poop in them. And they STINK......like garabge..... BECAUSE....the building requires you to pay $15 a month for a service to pick up your trash from outside your door and take it down 2 whole flights of stairs to the trash bins. This results in the hallways always smelling like garbage. This service is terrible. Once, they spilled all my garbage onto the ground and left it, and you can't opt out, I tried, and after the property manager said we would not be charged anymore, we kept getting charged. When we moved in, we were offered 6 weeks of free rent, during that period, the management company changed, which happens here a lot, the current property manager is Bailey Ginder and the company is Pacific Crest Real Estate. It took me 6 weeks, countless emails and phone calls to explain simple math to the new company's accounting department as the new company did not want to honor my 6 weeks of free rent. Eventually, they figured out how to add and subtract. My wife and I bought a house and needed to break our lease with only 2 months left on it. Breaking the lease is a fee equal to 2 months' rent. So, I asked if they were willing to work with me on that fee and I would have my unit ready to be shown as I was moving, they obviously said no, because they are the worst and they will nickel and dime you for every cent they can. Then after I signed my lease fee breaking paperwork, Bailey, casually mentioned they may be allowed to charge me another month of rent as well. I had to also fight that. But the final thing they did is why everyone should avoid this place and any property Pacific Crest Real Estate manages. Bailey called me and said they did an audit of my lease and since I broke my lease, I owed the 6 weeks of free rent credit back to them. During a pandemic, after refusing to work with me on the lease breaking fee, they called to tell me they wanted another $3,500, on top of the $4,600 I already owed to break the lease. Luckily, I saved a copy of my lease and was able to review it. Turns out, that wasn't true at all! I owed them nothing extra. Pacific Crest Real Estate is either negligent or nefarious in their actions. Either one makes them inadequate and ill equipped in their property management duties. How many tenants have they conned out of money in the past? Quite a few, I'm sure. They also lied to me about each unit's electrical and heat being individual, as I received a bill for a time period after I moved out. Bailey has still yet to even respond to my question about that.......

Updated review. 08/2020. We are ending our lease as soon as able. The building has become host to seedy characters and management appears to look the other way. I recently caught a tenants friend take and open my package and when it was reported to management they refused to get involved. They would not even provide the tenants apartment number and name to the police after I already reported it and provided them with the name of the officer and the incident number. They may be under new management AGAIN but it's the same. There are a lot of other buildings in the area that would offer better safety.

Truthfully if I could give this apartment complex and it's current/previous management companies a negative star review, I would. Even one star feel generous. I lived at Northlink for two years too long. My roommate and I moved in just after we had graduated college and were sucked in by the crazy good deal, locally owned & managed staff and spacious apartment. We later found the apartment, with "new" furnishings to be rather dysfunctional as most of the appliances had not even been installed properly (or at all). Many things broke quickly, there were odd smells, and the worst of all, the management of this building changed every 6 mo. Honestly in the two years I lived there, there might have been at least 6 or 7 different building managers. I never knew who to contact when I had an issue and there were many issues. For about 9 mo in 2019 the security gate to the parking garage was broken. Yup. 9 whole months. Within that time my car, as well as many cars were broken into. My tires were even stolen at one point. The building manager at that time truly did not even bat an eye when I reported it. The last manager, Bailey never even visited the property. When my roommate and I moved out, she contacted us to say we would be getting our deposit back, as well as any fees we had paid when we moved in two years ago. To our surprise a letter showed up at our new apartment saying we, in fact, owed Northlink $4. Claiming our deposit just barely covered "extra costs in utilities". We moved out of the apartment in April, paid rent through May (including utilities) so I'd love to know what $400 in extra utilities costs for an empty apartment run. This apartment complex is a joke as well as the company that runs it. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere better.

We had a tour set up to see the apartments but the gate was locked and no one answered our calls in the leasing office. We wasted time driving up and did not even get a call for an apology or anything. Don't waste your time.

Terrific location, great rates, gated community with parking garage in a nice suburban setting with trees, rooftop grilling area and a park like garden in the back, under new management, remodeled apartments with stainless steel appliances, glass tile backsplash, brushed nickel fixtures. Really lovely....this place is great!

We recently moved into Sierra apartments and have been very impressed so far. The building is well maintained and our unit is clean and spacious. The staff has been very easy to work with. The manager Lyndsey is awesome, she has been very accommodating (even when we were slightly difficult) and is so quick to respond and handle everything in a quick professional manner. The parking is a little tight but other than that I would highly recommend living Sierra!

I wish I could give negative stars. My husband and I broke our lease because we are buying a house. To break the lease it's ones month rent and we forfeit our deposit. When we moved in the place was not up to par. It's an older building so there are going to be some issues. The biggest issue is the lack of humanity from Lyndsey Benjamin. She has been unfriendly and rude. Had the attitude that she ran the show and we had to comply with her less than 24 hour notice of showing our apartment. When we asked her to abide by the lease and give us 48 hours notice that's when things got worse. And now she expects us to pay another $700. She must think we don't know our renters rights! Take it from me and find a different place to live! They are a nightmare!

*My family & I were initially pleased with the staff until there was a mix up on the lease & payment confusion. We were told a price & because we got the keys early they decided to charge us from the day of us receiving the keys? *They never vacuumed or shampooed the carpets but they claimed they did? We were vacuuming cat litter for months from the previous tenant. Also there story was they don't vacuum before shampooing the carpets? Huh ok I've never heard of anyone not vacuuming before shampooing, but this must be the new way of doing it! *The staff has turned over in the leasing office, so our initial leasing staff was there for a few months & then we have had a new person. Not friendly at all! Our 1st time meeting her, there was something wrong with the gates so they changed the locks - well they emailed that she would be there at a certain time? She's late no apology, sorry nothing just about 5 tenants waiting - not a care in the world! *Lacking any friendliness - this place is all about the $$$$! *Also I'm pretty sure storing wood in the Elevator Machine Room is not ok?! Maybe this is the new leasing office persons personal storage room? *We broke our lease to get out of this place ASAP, & the new staffer emails & tells us per our lease we have to let new people view our apartment within 24 hours - uh No per our lease section 13.D it requires you give 48 hours - not 5 hours not whenever you want & we could be in the apartment if we wanted! We were fed up after 9 mos. & wasn't giving an inch because they could care less. *They have a non smoking policy for the building well there were tenants who lived in the ground level & summer time it's hot - you leave the windows open! Well when you come home to a smoke & weed smelling apartment this is no good. I emailed both leasing people & literally there are tenants who still smoke in the building - they don't enforce nada! *I had a bike in the garage yep just like the previous reviews - stolen! *People eat food & leave crumbs & wrappers on your stuff or by your car! Just a dirty building & tenants who don't care because the owners don't care! Dog owners are lazy & let there pets pee & poop everywhere the owners don't pick up after! *I'm glad to be in a home so I don't have to deal with people like this anymore!

I read the reviews below and saw that there was no response and that the voicemail was always full, but I thought I would give it a chance seeing as the reviews were a year old. Nothing has changed. Still no answer, voicemail is still full and no response from emails. It is really sad that the leasing agent/s are so terrible. The place actually looks very nice on the website.
