I do not know why everyone rates this place so high. It’s a cute store but the books in art, cooking, craft, gardening were underwhelming. I even looked for cute coffee table books, something that is filled with photographs. But seemed like the selection was very random and not impressive.

A wonderful bookstore and one of my favorite bookshops in Seattle. The inside is incredibly beautiful, and you really feel like you have stepped into the quintessential used book store. They have such a wide array of books in the store I am always able to find something be it for myself or for a gift. While the fiction section is the largest, other sections are not left lacking.I have also sold some of my read books here, and I the exchange they offer is quite nice. I usually opt for store credit since I know I will be using it soon anyway (sometimes the same day).

...when you're scolded for bringing in a handful of books to sell 45 minutes before closing --"next time come in earlier...I have to do all the closing duties myself"--and it ends up taking a mere 7 minutes, there probably ain't gonna be a "next time."Cute shop, and they have books here, so those are wins. But there are multiple booksellers in the Market (BLMF comes to mind immediately) that aren't dripping with condescension and/or wound tighter than Lars's snare on St. Anger. As someone on workers comp for a blown meniscus and rotator cuff, my empathy for the plight of the embattled Gen X bookstore bro (sheltered from the rain) is pretty minimal.

Owner or lady who was working at the time i was there wasn't friendly at all. Didn't get greeted just glanced at us when we walked in. I went in with my boyfriend and he asked to see if they had one of the books he wanted and she found it, thankfully! But when we went to pay she didn't even look towards us while we were paying which is weird? Overall this bookstore is priced decently and very organized.

Cute book store! Lots of books to look through has a big selection for such a small space. It's organized very well. The staff seemed friendly.

This is what a used book store should be like! Anyone can walk in and leave with a book they're going to enjoy while browsing a carefully curated selection. You'll find a lot of great books there that you probably wouldn't find at other bookstores. Also, the store is very well organized and clean. It just feels good to shop there. I do sell a lot of my books to the store and that process is easy and very fair. You get a good deal if you take store credit. Selling my books there has made me better appreciate the curation of the store. They won't accept books that are in less than good condition so you know you're going to buy a book there that is in great shape and probably a book you won't find easily elsewhere.

Hard to beat a good second hand bookstore with everything could you want when discovering and getting lost in old books with enough curation not to make that journey feel confusing and disjointed. The owner has great book and restaurant recs and generally is willing to offer her thoughts on all thing books with a welcome enough attitude and droll delivery resulting in a good bookstore experience. If you don’t find what you want or something adjacent you are sure to find something you need. One of my favorite bookstores in Seattle, hands down.

This is a hidden gem bookstore. It has a vast selection of books, arranged in a way that makes it easy to explore different subjects. Some the books appear to be very unique, if not vintage. The vibe of the shop is stellar, featuring full shelves and many healthy plants. Also, the owner seems like a cool and knowledgeable person.Book fans, visit here!

This bookstore has such a nice, welcoming feel to it. A lovely calm space with beautiful decor. The selection of books feels very thoughtfully selected... if you find bookstores overwhelming or anxiety inducing because of the sheer amount of books squeezed into every nook and cranny then this book store will delight you with its neat, clean and well organized shelves.
