We love Interlake! The teachers are such caring and warm individuals. The outdoor play space is the best - kids climb trees and dig in the sand. They have a wonderful chef that makes nutritious, vegetarian meals and the admin staff arrange events to make you feel a part of the community, too.

Interlake was a wonderful home for both of our children. We owe so much of who they are to the school. From the scratch-made vegetarian food to the vast outdoor space, Interlake was exactly the cozy and homey place our little ones needed to thrive and prepare to launch.

Great organization to work for! Lots of planning time, a paid week off between Christmas and New Years and plans for a new facility in the works.
Interlake Child Care is a not-for-profit, early childhood education program (for ages 2mo - 5yrs), located in Seattle, WA, in the Wallingford neighborhood. Teachers utilize Creative Curriculum guidelines, including emergent & play-based curriculum, in all classrooms. The food program is included in the cost of tuition; is fully vegetarian; and includes breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon + evening snack. Normal hours of operation are Mon-Fri, 7:30a-6:00p. Interlake is a year-round program; closed on National Holidays, and for a one week winter break + one week summer break.
