Kim, the owner, is an excellent teacher. The instruction in both the asanas and the meditations are top notch..this place practices real yoga.. From the moment I stepped into the studio I felt a sense of community. Definitely worth checking out it you want to become more self-aware and more at peace.

In 2007 when I was 62 I took my first yoga class. It was with Kim Trimmer at her InsideOut Yoga studio. I only intended to take one class but 16 years later I am still practicing with her. She is a super-knowledgeable in yoga, of course, but also in somatic movement, meditation, anatomy, and Ayurveda practices. Through her yoga classes my balance, strength, and flexibility, even as an "elder," is better than it was in my middle years. Because of her vast knowledge in the other fields, which she incorporates into her classes, I have found myself to be more calm, mindful, and forgiving of myself during the day. When in yoga practice I am more aware of my body position in a pose, can keep my focus in a pose and can either be gentle with myself in a pose and not overdo it or encourage myself to hold a pose a wee bit longer as needed. No matter your age or condition Kim is the teacher for you. Come take a class with to her in her newly remodeled studio. Your inside and outside will be immeasurably better

I’ve been doing yoga with Kim for 10 years. It was the one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My balance has improved as well as my flexibility and strength. Most recently I’ve had hip issues. A few weeks ago we did some hip exercises, and lo and behold, the next time I went for a walk, no hip pain!Kim is thoughtful, totally supportive, and open to help you in any way that she can. Come join us!!

I've been doing yoga with Kim for 10 years! I started yoga ( I was 65) to improve balance, flexibility and strength (upper body, core, etc). Of course all parts of the body are "worked" on! Most recently we did some work with hips ( which had been bothering me). Well, the next time I took my walk, no issues! Kim is thoughtful, super knowledgeable, so supportive... come join us!

Kim is kind, knowledgeable, and fun! She does a great job of explaining and providing corrections without taking away from the flow of the practice. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new studio or hybrid option!

I recommend Kim Trimmer's classes to anyone who wants to study yoga, develop their practice, and have fun at the same time. Kim's approach is an amalgam of different schools of yoga combined with a philosophy that the inside is just as important as the outside. After more than six years of studying with Kim I am stronger in my core - physically and spiritually. She concentrates on strength, integration, balance, and the healing power of one's own body. Hatha Yoga often focuses on the final perfect form, but Kim helps you work with your unique body to adapt and move in the direction of the form, from the inside-out. This is what makes her classes powerful along with her ability to bring joy and kindness to her students.

I first attended Kim's yoga classes back in 2019, when I had just moved to Seattle. Her classes are grounding, intuitive, and connecting. Kim integrates her knowledge of human anatomy into her sequences, offering an intimate session where one truly learns to listen to their body, connect to it and nourish it. Kim's yoga classes are truly unique-- she offers expertise on modifications and techniques to suit what each body needs. She attends to her students' needs and histories as she guides them. What I have enjoyed most about Kim's classes are, among her masterful teaching style, the community orientation of the classes and the truly rejuvenating benefits and growth one makes from her classes. The atmosphere is friendly, non-competitive, and I cannot find a better word than intuitive. I highly recommend InsideOut Yoga.

Kim is a kind, beautiful yogi. Have been seeing her for twenty plus years. She has plethora of knowledge that she loves to share. Kim takes time to insure your position and poses are correct and that you are comfortable. The studio is warm and welcoming to all. You owe it to your mind, body and soul to put yourself back to how it belongs. Your body will thank you. Highly recommend yoga at InsideOut.
