I just took Vinyasa with Patrick and it was one of the best yoga classes I have ever taken! His instructions are so clear and flow very well. It was challenging and relaxing at the same time. Amazing!!

I've been loving this place for a while and wanted to share a review for anyone curious about joining Commune! Here are some thoughts I had before and after becoming a member:
1. They don’t keep your yoga mat: This might seem a bit cumbersome, especially if you commute by bus like I do, but I got used to it and this policy actually makes the studio cleaner and more spacious!
2. They communicate via email, with no direct phone at the studio: This can be little confusing for new members, but their email response time is super fast. I assume this policy helps keep the classes distraction-free and high quality
3. Classes might get packed: I usually go to 6pm classes on weekdays, which aren’t crowded at all. However, the weekend morning classes can get busy. I find this could be pro or con depends on your style. Personally, I don’t mind either way—whether the space is big or small, it encourages you to get creative with your movements and space
In short, I love this place, and I hope everyone gets a chance to try this wonderful studio!

Moved recently to Seattle where a friend recommended this gem of a place & now I wouldn’t go anywhere else. There’s such a wide variety of really high level, knowledgeable instructors with their own flow, & approach to yoga that you really can’t go wrong here; whatever you’re looking for out of your practice. & as a side note - everyone’s so friendly & welcoming; they really do a have a great sense of community which always adds a lot to the practice itself!

I've been to this studio a couple times. Overall the instructions are great, I especially enjoyed Tracy's class. She gave a lot of alignment cues that helped my practice. My issue Is that the classes are way too packed. I've been to some busy studios in the past, but I've never been to one so packed that I felt hard to move and had difficulty to breathe. Commune claims the room is heated around 80 but it is way hotter in reality. The room barely has any ventilation, so it ends up getting really hot and humid. I saw someone else mentioned the room temperature got to around 100 degrees (and this wasn't in the summer time). I try to avoid hot yoga due to health reasons so I was very disappointed when I found out the room was way hotter than expected. Later I tried a class on a weekday morning at 10:30, thankfully that class wasn't as busy (around 20 people) and I had a much better experience. Overall I have mixed feelings about the studio and likely won't be back

This yoga is fine, but be warned that it is "heated" to 80 degrees, and has no air conditioning, so since it's summer, it might be quite a bit warmer. I personally dislike hot yoga and would not have gone if I knew this in advance, and I could find no place on the website where this was disclosed. It's a good class, I just would have been happier to know about the heat in advance.

I have never been at the studio, but I have done 200h teacher training and I practice online. I think it's the best Yoga studio in the world. I have lived in Paris, Prague and Vancouver and the level of yoga is nothing comparable to this. My favourite teachers are Carling and Shelby. Thank you so much guys for your work and professionalism.

Yooooooo.... shout out to Jeff! His vibe is on point and I loved his morning flow. Seattle needs more yoga teachers just like him. Added bonus to have super fresh and delicious coffee from Muddy Cup waiting for us after class!!! Bomb dot com morning and can't wait to come again!

I LOVED the yoga classes, both in-person and online, I especially loved Erica and Sean’s classes in-person and I really look forward to doing more when I have time. Admin/communication about subscription issues can sometimes be slow, it’d be helpful if there’s a number to call or at least text

Of all the studios I've been to in Seattle, this place has the most advanced instruction. The sequencing is original and the instructors are highly talented. A great community. I recommend this studio to anyone passionate about yoga looking to take their practice to the next level.

Great classes however after a few months of membership have decided to cancel due to repetitive poor customer service at the front desk and a weird pretension/cliqueiness that can be common in yoga atmospheres. I wanted to love the studio and the experience but the rude service (towards myself and that I saw towards many others) really turned me off.
