After going to a couple different mechanics with not much luck, they were able to accurately diagnose and fix it up here no problem. “I Nomally don't do alot of reviews when it comes to auto mechanic shops because I normally do my own repairs, however my work schedule didn't allow me to do the lengthy diagnostics to find out why my vehicle stopped while driving, I didn't have time to try and find an honest shop in Vancouver since I work in Portland but I settled on NW imports and Domestics. and had my vehicle towed there. got a call back later on that day and was informed that the cooling fan needed to be replaced, the second call I received they informed me that they had ordered the wrong cooling fan and had to reorder the correct one and I would also need a module and a fuse. what confused me was the pricing went from $540 to $666 and change. I know it doesn't take 2 hour's to remove and install a cooling fan and a module and didn't understand why the cost was so high. when I went to pick up the vehicle I was taken back by the fact I was charged $107 for a $25 module $190 for a cooling fan which at the most should have only been $110 and the labor cost at $154 per hour I thought was high I was informed that that place they ordered the parts from were the only ones that had that particular part. Now to be fare they did give me a small veteran's discount of a little over$20, and on day 2 the vehicle hasn't stopped on me again so I believe the problem so far is fixed. So to sum it all up, they know thier way around when it comes to repairs. If your on a budget you probably need to shop around for a less expensive repair shop but if money is not a big issue then I would recommend NW Imports and Domestics they will do a good job on your vehicle repairs. So I give them 4 out of five stars as my honest review.”

“Hands down the best mechanic shop I’ve ever been to. I did **A LOT** of research before deciding to go forward with Swift Automotives, and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT.

In fact, they went above and beyond what I expected of them — while literally charging 50% less than all other shops rated 4.5 stars and above in the 20 mile radius in Vancouver, WA.

Not only were they the cheapest quote, they showed me exactly what was wrong, what was necessary, and what could wait; and itemized every single thing they and the labor costs to break it down really simply for you! They even included the comprehensive diagnostic exam free of charge with the services; and even topped off my fluids.

It gets better, since I had the check engine light go on and was nervous to drive while waiting for parts — they provided me a free rental for the entire time they had my car (to include waiting for the parts to come in). Afterwards, they even drove my vehicle to the dealership to ensure what they did worked, and showed me all of the computer programming to provide further corroboration.

Everyone that works here is so fantastic, personable, kind, and extremely hardworking. Forever grateful for: Kayla, Brianna, and Isaac for being incredible to me. I cannot sing high enough praises for them in making this such a positive experience.

“Took my F-150 in for some transmission issues. They recommended that it be rebuilt (which was exactly what the Ford dealer told me). Since it's return I've put a couple of hundred miles on it now and all is good. The repair took longer than they expected due to a part they were waiting for. This caused me some angst because of a travel trailer I had rented. I was able to borrow another truck to pick up the trailer, but was going to have to make another trip into town to pick up my truck for the trip home. However Shawn, the shop advisor on my work, felt bad about the delay and delivered the truck to my campsite. Completely unexpected and above and beyond their responsibility. Definitely recommend this company.”

“Thank God for Chuck Jones Automotive. The alternator went out on our work truck on the way to our huge trade show. We luckily got off the freeway and randomly pulled into a parking lot. As luck would have it we pulled right in front of their shop. The problem also included an isolator so it took an extra day but they got us back on the road and saved our trip. They are so nice and honest. Even picked us up from our hotel (in 95 degree weather).”

“The 1st time I used these guys I called 3 reputable local automotive shops in my area and asked who they used and recommended for specialty transmission work. All 3 recommended Metro and respected their knowledge and work quality. So far I've had them rebuild 2 transmissions (an automatic and a manual). Their prices are very fair and my transmissions are working perfectly. These guys know what they're doing and they stand by their word. I plan to go back soon to have them install an ARB locking differential.”
