Bought a Zurich code reader yesterday for $54.99. Got it home and plugged it into my truck to read the fault code and it would not read. Took the reader back to the store with receipt and they charge me a restocking fee of 20%! Talked to the manager and that is their policy on certain items in the store. Look President Eric Shimdt, if you are going to charge people 20% restock fee on your defective Chinese junk you should be forced to post this in your damn store. I will be talking to the Attorney Generals office about your abusive policies. I will never spend another dime at Harbor Frieght. To hell with you and your defective merchandise!

I wanted to return something and they said they would need a valid ID for retue and i didnt had a ID so I wasted my 10 bucks. I dont know why do they need a ID for return whereas other stores like Home Depot they dont ask for any ID for return .
