My daughter goes to preschool here, and she has such a good time. The teachers have a genuine and apparent care for the safety of the children.

They have an amazing assortment of everything your aspiring ballerina would need. I found adorable styles of leotards and just the tights we needed.

I won't go into huge detail because I do not want to waste any more of my time but I am wholly unimpressed with the customer service at The Dance Shop. Incorrect information given, my time wasted going back and forth when I was told an item was ready, then I arrive and am told it isn't (when a simple tc would have saved me time), no response to my email and then when my item was finally ready, the employee gave me two left shoes of different sizes. My daughter needed these items days ago and when we finally thought we had them in time for her performance we still don't. Employee even blamed me for the misunderstanding stating "you must have misunderstood the voicemail." Which I did not! I always prefer to shop local businesses and unfortunately this is one of the only dance supply shops in the area, but I'll take my chances online in the future!

After having moved to Richland, WA from Storm Lake, IA we were excited to have as many options available for our kids as was available at Dance Boutique. Our daughters are currently enrolled in 4 classes and spend several hours a week here. As a parent, the chairs are comfy enough while you wait. But if they threw in some free wi-fi I would probably camp out as much as my daughters do. Parking can get tough at times, but most parents are pretty good about pick-ups and drop-offs. Not to mention that if there were any problems, there would be about 20 other people who were already in their cars watching everything go down. My daughters love their classes (Hip Hop, Ballet, & Musical Theatre) and are looking forward to taking classes for many years to come.

I needed different dance items when I was here. I found a rather limited supply of my needs. I did, however, find many fundamentals perfect for their students. This studio produces excellent dancers. My niece took classes here.. I sat with her Mom in the parents viewing section. I am a dancer and a movement instructor. iIwas impressed with their good quality of instruction.

The Dance Boutique is a "dance wear" store which is located inside (or is part of Tri-Cities Academy of Ballet and Music). I was in search of some shoes for salsa. I didn't want any of the "serious" ones (they're a little too flamboyant for me), I wanted more of a practice shoe. I found what I was looking for, and luckily they had my size. Carol (owner) was good with hooking me up with a pair of shoes. She said I should try the shoes on for 30 min at home, and if they don't fit right, I could return them and they'd order me a better size. Great service, and a nice local business.
