I was lucky enough to find a wonderful stylist at Moda (Breanna), but she moved to a new salon. Moda quietly switched my upcoming appointment to someone else without reaching out to let me know. I've had other stylists switch salons & the original salon has ALWAYS reached out to ask my permission to put me with someone else or give me the opportunity to cancel. Had I not logged in to their booking software & noticed, I may not have been able to cancel in time & would have been subject to their 50% cancellation fee (which would have been $187 in my case!!). I wouldn't normally leave a review like this, but that seemed unprofessional and dishonest. If you're looking for Breanna, she's moved to Oasis Medspa in Woodinville. Please check your upcoming appointments.

It was my first time visiting this salon. I met with Leah, who is a level 4 stylist. She was fun and was genuinely interested in understanding my greater hair goals. She is well versed in curly hair and gave me a great cut and experience. I am looking forward to my next visit!

I had my hair done by Cristal back in January and my hair still looks fantastic! She was very friendly and made sure that I was happy with my hair by the end of the appointment. I will definitely be coming back!

I live in Florida ,however, I come to Seattle two or three times a year and I always go in to see Leah. She's compassionate she listens and she gives her advice. If you specifically ask, I wish I could take her home in between visits.

My family has recently discovered Moda. Rylie has been fantastic. Husband and son have been getting great men's cuts. Also, started seeing her myself for a short cut. Gave a really lovely short women's cut. If you are looking for a local salon in Renton check Moda out! The esthetician there, Diana, is excellent also if you want your brows done!

It is super important that when quoting a price. That the price should reflect the price from what is listed on your booking website & at your location. If there are any changes than prices are supposed to be updated for the new year. If a person is booked they are booked for price set on your website. There is only so much you can charge beyond what is listed on your website. The website should be updated or it is false advertising.

Expensive and a bit deceptive Second Experience.. Decided to try them again, and for being about 10 minutes late, they could not accommodate and threatened to charge me the fee for the service that they were not going to be able to do! Something that was not disclosed at the time I made the appointment anyways. I will never go to them

New hair via @beautywithcristal at Moda Salon. Hair feels lighter! It's so nice to have the heavy hair off my neck, my autistic sensory nightmare replaced with a bouyant asymmetrical Bob & undercut to thin. Cristal was very patient and checked in with me often. She also asked if I would be more comfortable with her masking and masked up for me. Thank you, Cristal. I was pretty disappointed with my cut October 11. At first I thought it looked okay until I got home to do my own styling and saw lots unevenness. I honestly could tell the stylist wasn't comfortable doing my cut I should have walked out once my intuition told me this stylist wasn't for me but I wanted to give them a chance. Needless to say two weeks later when I went to my hometown I had my regular girl fix my hair up. For the price of the cut it really isn't fair. Almost 100$ for a very choppy uneven cut that ultimately had to be fixed elsewhere ...if someone isn't comfortable with a specific style it would be best to express that to the client it was obvious in the quality of my cut they were not. I'm sorry to leave a negative review however I want to bring awareness to this situation.
