Lauren gets hair!! It’s challenging to find the right stylist, mine stopped doing hair, and I tried 1 other salon BUT when I first sat in Lauren’s chair, I knew she was my new stylist. She gives great recommendations when you ask and more importantly, you can trust your hair with her, plus she’s fun to talk with. I highly recommend her!

Emily is incredible! She is excellent at listening and helping me figure out how best to address my short haircut every 6-8 weeks! She is a wonder with bleach/color and I always leave her chair feeling fresh and ready to take on the world. I love 1630 Hair Artisans. Kind and talented people, and excellent products to keep my hair healthy!

I absolutely love 1630. These girls are truly the best experience you’ll ever have when it comes to hair. If you want fun, bright, well thought out placement and overall look, Emily is your girl. She is fun, creative, and will put all her effort in making sure you love your hair. So glad to have worked with her and this beautiful team Christine has built❤️

I'll give them a 2 because generally I'm usually happy. But realizing pretty expensive for the quality of haircuts we've received as a family.
Made an appointment a week in advance. Rearranged my weekend schedule for this. Apparently they sent confirmation text to wrong client. Cancelled our appointment. Showed up today unaware appointment was cancelled. They already rebooked our appointment. No appointments available today. And now have to wait another week for hair appointment. Couldn't even find a way to work us in earlier as it was an error. Front desk staff blamed me, the client, and was disrespectful. Definitely debating if want to keep appointment or find a new salon.

I see Logan at 1630, and she is the best hairstylist I've had. I specifically get platinum blonde, so if you are a blonde girly who struggles to get the tone you want - she is your stylist. Her work is absolutely beautiful. She knows exactly what will look good on your skin tone, face shape, and hair texture. Her schedule is always busy, so I recommend booking 1-2 months in advance if you need your hair done by a certain date and/or getting on her cancelation call list.
I feel 4-stars is an accurate reflection of my personal view of the salon as a whole because the only downside to 1630 is the cost. It's quite expensive compared to other salons in the area. I weather it because I love Logan's work but it would be hard for some people to maintain their hair here based solely on the expense, especially in this economy. I dont typically walk out for less than $500 and I get a full foil and a hair cut. Pretty straight forward. It's a bit much, but I cannot argue about the service quality. It's just definitely in the upper threshold of my budget and well beyond what most people I know pay to get the same or a similar service. That would be the only thing I would note as a potential negative.

1630 has been our favorite salon we have found since moving to the area three years ago. We see Emily and she's hip, friendly, has tons of experience and works very well my with picky teen boys and all their detailed requests.

It had been years since I'd been into a salon for a haircut. Quite literally I just randomly hacked into my hair with kitchen scissors Logan fixed everything and made me feel so lovely. I got two random stranger compliments today. HUGE THANK YOU. Highly recommended.

I recently spent most of a Saturday with Emily transforming my hair from a dull, neglected mess to a vibrant, stylish masterpiece. I hadn't had more than a trim in about a decade, and my hair was suffering for it. Emily spent over five hours meticulously working her magic, creating a stunning orangey-blonde balayage that perfectly blends dark roots into sun-kissed tips.
Beyond the incredible color, Emily also gave me an amazing haircut. She listened to my vague descriptions and suggestions, expertly interpreting my lack of direction into a style that perfectly suits my face and hair type. With minimal input from me, she removed a significant amount of length, added flattering layers, and gave my hair a whole new life.
Throughout the entire process, Emily was an absolute delight. Her conversation was engaging, her humor infectious, and her passion for hair evident in every touch. She even recommended a book that's just come available at the library, so I'm looking forward to that!
Since my cut and color, I've found myself making more effort to do my hair. It's no longer a chore; it's an enjoyable ritual that allows me to express myself. If you're looking for a stylist who can work miracles with your hair and make you feel like a million bucks, I highly recommend Emily. She's an absolute gem!
