“Always some very good prices on the best quality locally grown fruit, vegetables, and meat, especially if you shop the weekly specials. Most"pantry items" are very expensive, but are high quality items from small specialty suppliers. I wish more of those things were within my budget, but that's my problem not theirs. The fruit quality is outstanding and there's always something great that's priced very low. Most recently I bought Comice pears for $1.99/lb that are the same paper wrapped "Christmas pears" that are packed in expensive mail order gift boxes. Absolutely incredible.Don't miss their huge wall of their own brand of very large jars of herbs/spices that are much larger, cheaper, and higher quality than the regular grocery store. They only have a few choices (usually a few kinds of turkey, ham, and roast beef), but their sliced deli meats are top quality and very significantly cheaper than any grocery store. So yes, it's generally considered an expensive specialty market, but a smart shopper familiar with their offerings can get some of the best stuff cheaper than the big grocery stores.”

“Went for afternoon tea today. Had the "Champagne of Tea" and Fruity Tootie (sweet). both teas were great. Beware the scones we received had raisins in them, I was told the children's would be chocolate chip and I was under the impression the adults were plain but the children's had golden raisins and the adults had regular and golden raisins. FYI the english store is no longer there. Apparently it's been gone for a year but I didn't know. I specially went to this tea room for that as my mother is from England and I wanted to surprise her. So that kinda of sucked. The server stated they plan to hopefully bring it back by no eta. Service was decent and food was good. The room had some Harry Potter candles and decor but the setting is just black furniture with white table cloths and white dishes. If you're looking for more flowery or different vibe there are some other tea rooms in the area that will provide that.”

“It Was getting late and I was getting hungry so I went to the Valley Market . I bought a couple of pop's and a couple of sandwiches. The pop's were a great price and the sandwiches were very fresh and delicious. I Just moved in to the neighborhood and got a very friendly WELCOME last night by the cashier. Definitely a 5 star for me.”

“This location is relatively clean and the staff I've interacted with are kind and helpful.I didn't have issues finding parking.Pro Tip: if you like coconut water or any sort of individual drinks you should give Grocery Outlet a try. There are times I find things 2 for a $1 that usually cost 2+ dollars a piece.”

“Nicest people ever!!! My car shut off on me this morning and it was so embarrassing and I was by myself lol I can usually get it atleast started enough to just go back home but it didnt work this time and two gentlemen who work here saw me struggling and came to my rescue! Lol they didnt have to but they used some tools on the connection part of my battery and i kept trying my car until it started! I always have a pleasant experience here and prices are always great but they really went above and beyond to help me and I really appreciated that, thank you so much again!!!”

“Great little neighborhood store. Nestled on the edges of downtown Puyallup. Great little store with just about everything you can imagine from Alcohol, candy, breakfast foods, oil, chips and ice cream. They also serve "hot ready to eat" foods that are prepared daily, sometime multiple times a day, to stave off those hunger pangs. Or when you just want to nosh on a little bite.”

“I love shopping at WinCo Foods even though it's usually very crowded. The bottom line is prices, you shop at WinCo consistently, you will save money. Their canned goods, frozen foods, and cereals just wipe the other stores off the planet price wise. I can't afford to throw my money away, so I shop at WinCo. I'm a big fan of them.”

“Fantastic meats and variety of cuts. Definitely a place to visit if you are into planning family meals as they have great meat bundles. Don't be afraid to ask for thinner cuts as they are normally very generous portions.”

“I’ve always preferred this small Safeway to the larger ones in the area. It may not have as much in selection but it’s a nicer experience. Plus their floral shop is really good. I put in a rush order and Lynnette had it ready before I got to the store shortly after I called. Made my daughter’s day! I love their costumer service!”

“Today was a rough day. Nothing, I mean nothing was going right. I left my debit card at home and really needed cash back. I was way out of my neck of the woods when I ran over to this Safeway. I had to drag all of my sleep deprived children into the store with me ( long story, but like I said bad day) I used my digital wallet hoping for cash back. Apparently you can't get cash back with a digital purchase I was stressed and venting when the nice lady behind me thought I couldn't pay for my groceries and offered to pay for them. After I explained I paid for my groceries, just need to get cash back, My kids were being squirly and had me stressing out, I couldn't even properly tell her thank you. I felt so bad, she and the cashier were so nice. We went out into the parking lot and like I said I had all of my kids with me., As we were walking towards the car an older man who was backing up in his truck was not paying attention to anything behind him and nearly ran over me and all of my children. I totally freaked out and started hitting his truck screaming " stop!" because I did not know what else to do as he was nearly about to run plus over, I was trying to block my children from his truck with my body. The man was a total jerk and so was his wife, in the front seat, Never apologized, gave me mean snares, shaking their heads at me and acted as if I had done something wrong. I was shaking by this point I could not even collect myself to think straight. This amazing human being came out of no where, offering to take my cart, and put my groceries in the car for me... the buggy boy. As soon as I got in the car I began crying because despite the terrible morning I was having God placed 2 sweet souls in my path at this Safeway. I wish I could have told this young man what his kindness meant to me. As well as the nice lady behind me at the checkout stand. As I drove off the young man, thebuggy boy, waved and yelled have a great day! Thank you for being angels to me today.”

“This Fuel Center usually has some of the best gasoline prices & plenty of available, well stocked pumps for their customers. Since their opening day, I have found this location to be safe, clean & well staffed.”

“The lady at the bakery in this Albertsons did an AMAZING job on my son’s birthday cake. When every where else was booked, she got it done for me. She had great customer service skills, and I didn’t have a picture for the cake so I kind of described what I wanted the cake decorated like. She went above and beyond what I thought it would look like. Thank you so so much.”

“This is my local walk to store. Gin the owner is very nice man. He keeps a good selection of products that some I won't mention but at one time or another you'll find yourself in need. He's the go to guy.Thank you Google for allowing me to share my places with everyone.”

“It’s rather hard to beat this location. It’s well-positioned and relatively easy to get to from any direction. Center meridians, prevent mid block turn from the highway, but there’s a light at and a light before the end of the block that both can be used to get into the parking lot. The price is always the cheapest on Canyon Rd this far south, and it’s a Safeway, so you can use your fuel points to make it even cheaper. Sometimes there’s a bit of a weight, but I’ve never waited more than five minutes for a stall.”

“Canyon road gaston deli mart home of the wabodi special sandwich.. 2 of my 20 last day living bucket list definitely are that Wabodi and the Soft Serve machine.. nothing like a bug cup of chocolate and vanilla swirl. They Also have a hot foods menu that rivals the best of em. Whether it is Breakfast, lunch, dinner or that late night 4th meal, their hot food will leave you satisfied. 5☆'s for these guys . I could go on and on as to why they are worthy!”

“safeway on 176th & Canyon Rd. in Puyallup has the most Fabulous Friendly Florist!! OLGA is the most professional florist I have ever done business with. Many florists have standard designs but somehow Olga makes all her orders shine *beautifully*. She is friendly, prompt and helpful with choosing just the right item for any occasion. If you give her floral orders as a gift, you will be really pleased with the smiles they generate. Ive taken over a half dozen to people for this holiday season and I cant express enough how happy each person was. THANK YOU SAFEWAY for employing people like Olga who show how much they care about their job and the people it benefits!!”

“I've had a working partnership with this Safeway for two Christmas seasons now and most of the staff members are very friendly. It's been positive as I would see them walking to go outside on their breaks, cart retrievals, or managing customer orders.Pricing seems to be getting better here like it was before. Currently, I'm not using the app, but being a Safeway club member still has its benefits. Instead of being only .50 cents to $1.00 off when things go on sale, I've seen that the sale prices have increased on certain products. One of the best findings here in terms of accessible essential resources for females is the sale pricing on the period hygiene products of the Signature Brand, which is Safeway's generic brand name. For less than $7, I was able to find a package of feminine pads and that's including taxes.Their deli section has improved also! Their food has been mostly fresh and there's more offers on their chicken. They have a "Cheep Cheep Chicken" deal on Mondays. And on Wednesdays, there's a $6 sushi offer on at least a few types of their sushi packages. I haven't tried out their sandwiches recently, but noticed an improvement in this section about a year ago. There were issues in terms of overcharging and cleanliness. But things look a lot better and fresher.”

“It's very good pizza. Operators could learn about putting on a kind face and be friendlier. A hello or welcome or some other gesture that's kind and inviting. I don't think they are bad people but the cold shoulder is obvious there. I think it's fear of crime. But pizza although good is kinda spendy by the slice. At $4.50 a slice, I can say they are big slices. They could come down 75 cents I'm guessing. But dang it's as they say Bold yummy pizza. True.Cramped store. Needs a facelift.... A good cleaning and paint job would help. It's not dirty but cluttered. Cramped spaced make me not want to shop for more. That and they always seem on edge or aloof. Not exactly friendly people. I've tried exchanging lite chat. No doing. They seem to do a brisk business. Overall I will go back but if i had to pick... prefer the kind Korean family across the street. Just nicer... Well priced propane. no where to eat pizza there.I complain the pizza is to expensive but honestly very tasty and convenient. I have only bought by the slice . I have gone back a few times for it. Otherwise I get my propane across the street and I just like how kind they are. This store and their neighbors are family run. Different cultures different approach. These folks could take lessons on light chat and smiling. I'm never comfortable not fo I get a friendly welcoming vibe. I wonder if they ever been harassed or robbed? That would explain the unwelcoming attitude. I think over all it's a good store. But if I had to pick l across the street sorry is my fav but try the pizza anyway. I'm gonna get some now I been writing this ?”
