Our favorite store! We come here once a week. They have the best playmobil sets that we cant find anywhere else but amazon. Rather support them though.Highly recommend this store for any gifts!

Stopped here after a bad experience at the other toy store in town. Staff was very nice and joked with us and was very polite to both me and my child. I don’t know what the others were complaining about but my child is respectful, quiet and polite and was treated as such. Store is full of great stuff, very high quality toys and very diverse selection. This is reminiscent of the way good toy stores used to be. I recommend it!

I go for Magic the Gathering cards now and then and I don't understand some of these newer reviews, the workers have never been rude or annoying and have always have been patient even if I don't buy anything.

I should have know after checking out some of the reviews. With staff that don’t want kids touching the TOYS and being rude to the paying adults/parents, I cannot support this store. What a terrible experience for something that was supposed to be fun. I wanted my nephew to pick something out for himself, but alas, it seems at least one of the employees here needs training in how to interact with families.

Worst experience in retail ever. The most unwelcoming and rude staff I have ever encountered. Came in to shop for Christmas gifts for family and made to feel unwelcome, woman working was increasingly rude, condescending and unpleasant until I left. I refuse to support this business. Consumer beware.

This is a toy store for adults and by adults I mean boomers.Heaven forbid if you bring a child in here and they actually want to touch the toys before you purchase them. Read the responses from the owner and you'll see they claim it's because kids are "rough" with the toys. I was told to pick up my child and carry them around so they "didn't touch and damage anything".Also there was a strong odor of cigarette smoke at the entrance.

STAFF ABUSIVE TOWARD CHILDREN.When my 3 year old and I entered the store, we were asked what we were looking for. I said we were Christmas shopping.There was a small table with a stool next to a tower of cars. My son immediately was drawn to the cars and put a few on the table to look at them. I was looking around the store at things I could buy my son and also for anything that might delight my husband.The woman working, went over and started snatching the cars from the table my child was at. He had placed six cars on the table top. I came back over and told my son to help put the cars back and that he could only look at one at a time.I sat in the adult chair at the table and asked him which car he liked the best. (I was going to buy him one along with a Playmobil Pirates set.)The woman came back and asked if we were ready to leave. She had a horrible attitude and said that children are not welcome AT HER TOY STORE.I cannot imagine a worse attitude for retail, let alone being a toy store so unwelcoming and rude to children.We left immediately without purchasing what we had planned to buy and as I was buckling my son into his car seat, the woman (she was older with a bad blonde dye job) had the audacity to stand at the door of the shop scowling.Never again.

SHOP HERE,stop by and tell them what you want! They have everything, I was floored. Extremely well curated toy store for all ages.Please Support Local Toy Store.I don't care if you can pay less on Amazon. Don't shop on Amazon. These toy store owners have years of cultivated product knowledge and they run an amazing storeMy air force husband just retired to the area. I'm only 44. I saw mall toy stores go out of business, and the Toys R Us, go out of business.If you have the type of conscience that will let you undermine one of the last remaining toy stores in business, then go get your lower price.This store had every single quality brand I can ever remember seeing most of my life, and they are *remote*. Remember how far away you really are.If I sound defensive, it's because I am. I am of the generation that watched toy stores disappear.Amazon is different. Don't yield to a giant. Pay more and shop local, because that *extra* that you think you're paying...It's not extra. Just pause for a minute and think, you have the best toys available, pretty much in the world, amazon and target don't stock this exact stuff because this is a toy store that is *curated*You don't have to wait for amazon, you go home happy TODAY,SHOP HEREA local toy store is something grandparents can't live without. I'm only in my 40s.

This store is just beautiful. Awesome selections! I am so glad my friendlet me know about this wonderful toy store. I don't live here in Poulsbo butstill somewhat local. I was in there, I believe it was on a Tuesday recently and really wanted to say, again, thank you to the helpful staff, this woman was so so kind. And if I may add so patient. I do try and not take so long on a decision but when itcomes to the little ones, I want to buy up everything. All this to say I love thisstore and am so glad my good friend told me about it and looking forward to coming back.Thank youOlivia D.

My toddler saw a mermaid doll and wanted to hold it. I got it down for her and she held it. Then the worker came over (older lady) and very snottily told her to put it away because of the netting in the hair (which my toddler did not even touch). She cried when she had to put it away so suddenly. Was NOT going to buy the mermaid to support that shop the rude lady worked at or anything there for that matter. I had a very sad toddler for a long time. Went to another store and bought an even better mermaid for much cheaper. With workers that are actually child friendly at a TOY store. Will never come here again. Do better.UPDATE: to responseThe mermaid was a STUFFED doll and my toddler is 3 years old. Please tell me how she could be unduly rough with a stuffed animal when she literally was holding it for a couple of minutes. Your employee response was just ridiculous. I'm letting it go but won't be back for sure.
