A great selection of Traditional meads with barrel versions for comparison. And a few extra unique varieties as well. Must visit when near Port Townsend.

10/7/23You're in for a beautiful little treat for anyone who wants a fun little adventure: pick some pumpkins, feed the sheep and chickens, and hike some trails; you have to make it to Port Townsend and check out Wilderbee Farms and Mead Werks.Yes, what a delightful, beautiful farm this is.Our main goal was looking for some pumpkins, supporting a local small business, and having a great time doing it!The sheer amount of pumpkins was crazy, from tiny to very large; mine weighed almost 27 lbs!Of course, most were your lovely orange ones, but they also had some white and yellow for the pickings! We couldn't stop at two large orange ones only; hubby picked a pretty white one, and I chose a yellow one, I have never seen a yellow pumpkin until buying one there.Wilderbee Farms also has a meadery tasting room that displays art from local artists as well. Sit inside, sit outside, whatever your heart desired, and the service was phenomenal. No, I'm not much of a drinker; months and months go by without me having a drink, but that didn't stop us from tasting a couple of meads and purchasing two for the holidays!I chose Autumnal, Fall in a bottle! It's on the sweeter side, but it wasn't even close to being the sweetest mead they had to offer. But the warm spices of Fall make a grand entrance with this mead. Serve it hot, serve it cold, or serve it at room temperature. Of course, this mead is a seasonal one only! The second one we tried and purchased was Happy Medium After Dark. This mead is created in Bourbon barrels! For those who don't like a dry mead but are not super sweet, this one is the perfect balance of in-between, hence the name Happy Medium. The texture of this one is nice and smooth! The staff we had encounters with were gracious, friendly, and helpful. It is a definite must-see!!Wilderbee Farms' location is 223 Cook Ave Ext, Port Townsend, WA 98368.HOURS:Meadery Tasting Room: Saturdays & Sundays 12-5 pmFarm & Store: Wed-Sun 12-5 pm April through October.*Thank you for supporting all locally owned businesses like Wilderbee Farms. Please remember to be kind to ALL living things!!* ??

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pumpkins must be very well tended because the quality of those available for purchase is far above any I've ever seen at the larger more commercial pumpkin patches. We also bought a bottle of mead during our visit and it was delicious. Highly recommend.

Beautiful farm in Port Townsend, selling, making or growing: Mead, wool, lavender, apples, pears, flowers and pumpkins and more. Amazing place! Found it on the Jefferson County Farm tour!

Wilderbee is an absolute gem in Port Townsend. Visit to pick gorgeous flowers to make your own bouquet or a bundle of Lavender ($9 each). They have a lovely shop with lavender and other essential oil products with other handmade goods that are truly one-of-a-kind. The meadery is also lovely and inviting with wood throughout. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly helping to suggest a tasting so you can try multiple varieties ($12) and they even have free juice boxes for the kiddos. Sit back, sip your mead and take in this gorgeous farm from umbrella covered picnic tables or Adirondack chairs. It’s a must visit.

We went there during the Farm Tour. They have a Meadery, a flower farm, a store and tons of fun stuff. Try the Mead - you won't be disappointed.

We had never been to a meadery but this is the best kept secret out here! The meads are fantastic and the property is beautiful! The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was so charming. Everyone is so sweet and hospitable and worth driving out to visit! Definitely try a couple selections with the flight! The Autumnal is my new favorite--it's fall in a cup!
