Daughter purchased a handsome mug from Mossy Creek Pottery near Lincoln City, OR. for my Mother's Day. Red clay, a black-drip rim, and that lovely little black and white bead in the handle. Light weight. Big enough for my first and last strong coffee of the day! ;-)

They may be laughing but I’m not. I had a cup and pitcher set made by the previous owners, which was a gift from a friend. Unfortunately, I broke one of the cups. I called and talked to Darby, the apparent owner of “Laughingnome.” He asked that I send a picture of the remaining cup, which I did. In further discussions after he received the photo, he assured me that he could make an exact replica. I agreed and ordered four at a cost of $20 each. What I received were four mismatched cups that bore no resemblance to the photo of the broken cup. It appeared that they were cups sitting on the shelf that Darby just wanted to get rid of. I complained and the money was refunded. I shipped them back at my expense. Now, a month later, the postal service reports that the package was never claimed, despite repeated notification. I think this further demonstrates that these were junk products that Darby wanted to get rid of rather than creating new cups as promised. Yes, the money was refunded but the misrepresentations weren’t corrected. As update, the store never picked up the returned cups from the post office, probably because they knew they were junk.

UNBELIEVABLY GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE (AND PRODUCTS). We first purchased a tankard from LaughinGnome Pottery 17- years ago. My wife has used it every morning since for coffee. Since then, we purchased more of their products as gifts to others (and I have a tankard I use every day). Recently, my wife's tankard fell and developed a hairline crack, causing a leak. She was saddened to have to give up her mug (yes, she'd be the first to say this is a First-World problem). I ordered her another tankard, but there was a snafu in the shipping. When I called and explained the issue, the manager, Darby, said they'd take care of it. With no fuss or problem, within days my wife had a new tankard (with which she is again bonding). Darby also said if we return her original tankard, he'd attempt to fix it and return it free of charge and they'd pay the postage!. We LOVE their products and now we really love their business. Thank you, LaughinGnome Pottery, for your great products and service!

Absolutely obsessed with my “fidget friendly” mug with the bead spinner from LaughinGnome Pottery! I’m an avid mug collector and this one is easily my favorite and most common “go-to” mug in my whole collection. Amazing piece!

The business was in the process of relocating when we stopped by but the artist still took time to chat with us about thier pottery and it was a pleasure to make new friends. It was a highlight of our PNW vacation. I hope they find success and happiness in their future. Go find them at the Port Townsend farmers market on Saturday, you won't regret it!

I saw these mugs first at the Ballard Market but didn’t buy. Then the shut down happened and I kept thinking about this therapy mug with a bead in the handle! I searched online but couldn’t remember anything about what the store was called. My first time back at the Ballard Market, Laughing Gnome was there and I snatched up a mug! It has been a great way to start my day and lived up to my expectations! One unexpected bonus is that it so light and delicately thrown. I also thought I wouldn’t like the unglazed pottery but it’s not rough at all. My husband is a little afraid he will break my favorite mug but at least now I know where to go to replace it!

They sure baked in a Secret into the clay - I can’t drink coffee anymore without my spinner mug. Just noticed the gnome version - got to get me one of those! The best present for anybody.....

I drink my coffee from a gnome pottery mug every morning. The coffee is transformed into nectar of the gods plus the shop is a cool place to visit.
