Although I did not rent from them, Teri was kind friendly and courteous. It was a pleasure talking with her

This review is for the UHaul side of the business, I have no idea what the storage facilities are like but if it's anything similar to the way they run their UHaul business, steer clear.Few weeks ago I called to rent a UHaul van for a 2 mile in town move, I needed the van for 2 days as my partner had class Friday/Saturday and we were getting keys Friday night. When I called for the rental, I was bombarded with suspicion and loose allegation and told not to "move shrubs" because the van is "brand new"... I said I don't have shrubs, I am moving my house. They reiterated that the van is "brand new" and don't move any "trash". I thought this was pretty weird and presumptive. I declined the insurance because it was a 2 mile move.I go pick up the van Friday morning and it was just a weird feeling from the initial phone call. I'm immediately told "You wanted to purchase insurance?" I said nope, it's a short move and I'm just moving boxes. I was told once again how new this van was and I'm responsible for all damages. All good, like I said, I'm moving boxes and haven't had a ticket since I was 16. I do my walk around and don't notice anything, get texted the pictures from UHaul of my van which has a broken windshield (My van doesn't). I don't think much of it and take the car, as I need to get moved out.I return the van and get my receipt Monday morning in my email for $500 in damages. I go to Prolock and their whole demeanor has changed saying they would never pressure insurance, it's UHaul dispatch that noticed the damage etc. I was also accused of not sweeping out the van ($25 charge) which is comical, it's a rubber mat floor in the back, and things are always going to stick to it.I attached pictures of the dents below. When I got the van there was no black X's next to the dents. Would you notice this on walk around during moving day, when you're stressed? I contacted UHaul who told me since I didn't approve the pictures texted to me it's likely I got charged for someone else's damage... and now UHaul won't return any calls! Keep in mind these pictures weren't even accurate because the windshield was cracked in the pictures and not on the van, their response "We fixed that!".... Okay, so if you fixed that and the pictures aren't accurate what's the point of the pictures anyway? At the end of the day, I'm totally fine paying for damage I did - I'm not trying to get out of that. The problem is, I didn't do it, and this whole thing stinks to high heaven. Imagine if there is someone who needed a UHaul in a pinch with less money than the average and they pull this junk on them. Predatory and disgusting.Edit: Follow up - Visa and WSECU agreed these charges were bogus. Use caution!

Just recently rented their uhaul van. It was my first rental experience and I'm not sure any other business will be able to top it. I hadn't the forsight to check when they closed so I arrived right as they were closing. The woman at the front desk saw me and asked me to come in so she could help me get the van like I needed. She stayed 40 minutes or so after close to get the van rented to me and making sure I understood everything about the process as a first time renter. She was extremely kind and didn't seem annoyed to be giving me the extra help at all. She was the highlight of my otherwise terribly stressful day. So much so that I felt the need to write my first google review for them. Very thankful for my experience here.

We used pro lock to store my daughters belongings over the summer and it was a great experience. I'm sorry I haven't reviewed earlier. The entire process was clearly explained documents ready when we got there and really easy to give notice and come pick up our stuff. Start to finish staff were so nice and helpful and pricing was competitive. Really convenient.

I have been meaning to write a review for quite some time for Prolock Self Storage, and frankly I'm glad that I've finally sat down to do so. I have to TOTALLY disagree with the previous review. I have rented from Prolock several times throughout my years and been treated with respect and kindness. I've had nothing but great experiences with the facility and the staff that runs it. Small LOCAL businesses are struggling, so if you are at all concerned about supporting small local businesses Prolock is definitely the way to go when it comes to your storage needs. I would 100% recommend them to anyone I met that needed storage!!!!!
