My recent experience with Kia Hanson Motors has left me extremely dissatisfied. Throughout the sales transaction, my wife and I felt misled and pressured into additional services we didn’t want, such as the S.W.A.T. Tracking and Recovery Security System, which was falsely presented as a requirement for the purchase. We repeatedly declined it, but the sales rep insisted that it had to be included, despite the contract clearly stating it was not mandatory.
Additionally, the base price of the vehicle was manipulated. The agreed-upon price of $34,900 was never reflected in the final contract, and instead, a higher base price of $38,435 was listed. This was not what we had negotiated, but by the time we realized it, it was too late, and we felt deceived by how the paperwork was presented during the signing process.
When we tried to address these issues the following day, we were met with unhelpful and defensive responses from the finance manager. It became clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority and that the focus was on maximizing their sales profit at our expense.
I would caution anyone considering doing business with Kia Hanson Motors to be very careful and ensure that everything agreed upon is clearly documented in the contract. Based on our experience, we feel this dealership is not trustworthy, and we would not recommend it to others.

Everyone was great!! Justin Gay was my sales person, a super nice, very personable, friendly, helpful guy! He made everything easy!
I always sleep on everything, you know, try it before you buy it!! No one likes that. They think you won't come back. Well, I tried the 2024 Sportage on Thursday and bought on Friday. It is not a disappointment!!! It's a great car. Fully loaded!!! I am in love with my car! Thank you Hanson Motors in Olympia!!!

Worst experience I've ever had with a dealership! I had my car in for some warranty work which turned into a major repair due to one chewed wire I was told they can not repair the wire, I needed to purchase a whole new harness. The repair was $7,000 for a complete wire harness. I had to pay for the repair because what choice did i really have?
My issue started when I drove home and my car was over heating and shut down due to no coolant. This was a result of a poorly placed hose clamp. After sitting on the side of the road making my own repairs and getting the car home I realized other items I had asked to be done were never done.
I have reached out to the service department twice now since all of this has happened (going on day 3) and I haven't even received a call or a text back. I sent photos showing the coolant sprayed all over and asked how can we rectify this situation and not a word. I guess once your paid up they are done with you!
If you have an option to use a different dealership id use it! Don't Use Hanson Kia in Olympia!!!! Once you pay for them they could care less about your problems even if they caused it!
I would have left no stars had it let me!

Got the new car I wanted with less than 15 miles on it. It was shipped from a different dealership rather than being driven ?

Craig was excellent to work with throughout the process and Penny made dotting the “I”s and crossing the “t”s super easy and painless. Very happy with our experience at Hanson Kia!

Everyone at Hanson was super friendly! I came in looking for an electric or hybrid and they found me a match pretty quickly and had me out by lunch. They were also very accommodating to my kiddos.

This is most definitely the best experience I’ve ever had at a car dealership I’ve ever had. Everyone from the salesman, to the finance managers were super friendly and helpful. I can’t recommend this dealership enough. This will be my first stop the next time I shop for a car.

I bought a brand new 24 Kia Forte. Long story short, I called months ago with an issue and they said they’d call back. Never did. I called three weeks ago because there are more problems and they told me there are no loaner cars available do you need to pay for one. I explained this car I bought brand new - the computer issues it’s having should not cause me to pay for a rental. If I damaged it myself and you needed it for a few days I’d understand but that’s not what’s happening. The sent my call to the manager where I left a voicemail. He called me back that day but it was like my concern were correctly relayed. He then told me I misunderstood when I clearly understood what the initial person said to me. He said he’d call me back after looking at the schedule. Never did. I gave him a couple days because I understand it could be crazy but then I called back Friday and he left for the week. I requested a call back on Monday when I was told he’d be back and he never called. I then call and I get sent to the voicemail, the First Lady I spoke with today ASKED him to call me and instead he just makes her the messenger. I now feel more frustrated because I was pushed off, I waited all week for him to just task it to someone else? Months ago I was ignored and then never followed up. I feel like I have to chase them to do something. I bring it to Josh, the managers attention and he does the same thing but adds the insult of just tossing everything off on someone else. Incredibly, incredibly rude and unfortunate the sales team is so great but when the car isn’t functioning correctly I just get to chase the service center for answers then ignored.

This is my first time buying a Kia. My wife and I had a great experience buying a new Kia Niro at Hanson Kia in Olympia. Our salesperson (Logan) was friendly, informative and non-pushy. The financial guy (Dave) made us feel relaxed and like we'd known him a long time. So far, the car is exceeding my expectations.

BEWARE: I believe that the repair dept tried to run a scam on my elderly mother to get her to buy a new car by completing unnecessary repairs, lying about waiting two days to replace a rusty bolt that they could not show to me. The replaced parts that they did show me were in very good condition. The next time she had the car worked on, it had no oil in it. It wasn't leaking oil. The only explanation is that KIA returned it to her with no oil. Just thought people should know.
