“I've been a AKUsa member basically from birth and have never had any issues. My parents have had some fraud and the AkUsa was on it quickly. Recently I had my first major issue of fraud and was amazed by how quickly not only the fraud department reacted but also how quickly the branch reacted. Within minutes of an issue, I was contacted by the fraud department and was able to go into the branch to secure my account. The staff here were amazing to notice something was out of my usual pattern and stopped it before it escalated. 10/10. I'm sad that it's no longer AKUsa but I'll be a Global Crecit Union user for life.”

“We had a bit of a money situation at my place of business on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. In the attempt to solve our problems, my boss and I first tried the banking instruction that my store banks with. That institution was NOT helpful. The WSECU on Martin Way in Olympia happened to be open, so we crossed our fingers that they would be whiling to help. To my happy surprise, they were. We didn’t have an account with them but they made a one time exception for us and SAVED US! We would have had such a struggle at my job over Labor Day if it wasn’t for the extremely nice & helpful staff!!! I personally do shared branching at this location and have always enjoyed my experience!!! ❤️❤️❤️”

She took the time to bring out dollar coins and quarters and discussed the merits of each with me at length. I couldn’t believe someone would have that much patience for my nonsense.(Our initial mix of half and half only filled the bottle to 26oz, but I had enough loose change in the couch at home to fill it the rest of the way!)”

The bank's policy is to not cash savings bonds for a decedent, even with letters testamentary from a court. It appears to be a widespread problem with banks so Heritage is apparently not alone. Other than that, I have no complaints.”

I was actually there to close an old account we haven't used in over 2 years and was met with such unexpectedly great customer service from Nicole. She noticed that our account had been slowly drained over the last 2 years of monthly service fees and quickly reversed what she could and escalated the matter without us even asking (although I would have asked) AND the executive case manager also did not disappoint. Definitely made me consider opening an account there one day again.”

“**update*** i was contacted quickly, and was able ro complete my loan request over the phone with no issues. I've been a member for a while and every time I try to apply for a loan, or credit card online, the system is malfunctioning. It doesn't let you get past step 2 if you manually enter your info, or past step 1 if you try to upload you ID. You also can't make a principal payment on the app towards your car loan. Very disappointing”
