We stayed in a suite with view & rather enjoyed our view from the balcony. Well-appointed rooms that have everything you couple possibly need though we never once even turned on the TV. Service was top-notch, room always clean. This is such a beautiful town & staying here was really peaceful & serene. Will definitely be coming back.Food & drinks: The breakfast options were excellent for hotel breakfast. There are times things would be out, but someone is always on task at the pantry so they would address any issues you bring to them right away.

Tracy is so professional, kind and helpful. I saw online there was a king city view available and by the time we got there it was already booked. She provided a partial water view and it was so peaceful to fall asleep to the sound of the waves with the fireplace on. Slept like a baby! The other lady working, Vicki (?), was a bit gruff. The counter was unattended and she was watching a show/movie at a side desk with her back to the counter. I felt that was very unprofessional and when I got her attention she was kinda rude and acted like she didn't know what she was doing or that she even belonged there. I asked where Tracy was and she didn't know, responding with "who? Uh, I guess somewhere on the property" and walked away rather than asking if she could assist me with something. Her customer service really needs improvement along with verbal etiquette and how to professionally respond to guests.

Stayed for 1 night as I was in town to attend memorial service. Reserved a water front room. We were at the end of the building close to the pier. Our room was a advertised I booked through the their website for best price at the time. Everything was very clean from outside area, lobby, hallways and room. The weather was very nice while visiting and it made for beautiful views. Kudos to Alex who works the front desk we were a bit early prior to 4:00 and she let us check in early as our room was ready. Thank you. Overall nice stay!Walkability: Nearby restaurants, park and lighthouse.

I was standing out in the cold waiting for my husband to pick me up after getting off a ferry on Saturday May 11th. It was 11:50pm and I went inside the silver cloud hotel to see if I can wait in the lobby in a safe space until my husband can pick me up. Vikki was the front desk associate and when I told her my situation and asked if their was anyway I could wait in the lobby where I can feel safe until my husband can pick me up, she responded with a disrespectful attitude and rude tone saying “nope absolutely not you need to stand outside. You can’t be in here you need to leave.” She was also putting her hand up to my face as she said that. I said “please I don’t feel safe outside” and she said “nope you are not a guest you can not be in the lobby you need to leave.” I stayed very calm so there was no scene but I was genuinely afraid she was going to call the police on me or something. When I told my husband what happened, he was furious with how I was treated and that this employee didn’t care about my safety. I was shocked at the disrespect and how I was treated after asking her a simple question. I understand she was following the hotels policy, but if she can’t provide decent customer service as a front desk worker to the public and respond kindly to others, she shouldn’t be working in a line of work with the public. I think Vikki honestly needs serious retraining. I talked to the general manager Gary and he assured me she would be talked to about her behavior and I appreciate him for talking to me kindly and being professional but I would be cautious when stepping foot into this place especially if Vikki is going to work the front desk. Wouldn’t recommend this place until Vikki gets retraining.

Was here for a business trip. Enjoyed my stay with the free breakfast and comfortable bed. Lots of room with a place to get food next door. Down side is not all rooms have a view to the water but you can see it in the lobby area or just go outside to walk around.

Service and communication was terrible the morning of checkout. After authorization for a 1 p.m checkout the night before, someone knocked on the door at 10 a.m not announcing themselves, when I answered hello? They said hello and then attempted to enter the room but I had the dead bolt locked. I assume it was housekeeping because they had a key to access the room. Front desk called at 12:03 to inform us checkout was at noon. I advised her of the late checkout and the situation that occurred, her only question was did we have a do not disturb sign on the door! There wasn't one to put out and has nothing to do with someone trying to access the room! Housekeeping knocked and announced themselves at 12:30 ..... clearly a lack of communication between staff. Nice view, location, but the morning was terrible and the desk person didn't act like that wasn't normal. Someone trying to enter your occupied room when you're sleeping is NOT normal. Crappy experience for over 200$ a night. ??

Like another local guide has already mentioned this is a great romantic getaway for the $. We got the jacuzzi suite it was magical. Being on the water reminds me of a cruise ship we watched seals and cranes sit on the dock, watched the ferry come and go, the beach is underneath you so you can just walk on it. There are many things to do besides just look out the window, ( response to another review). The restaurant options are endless we ended up getting thai food from just 5 minutes away, The room has a nice fireplace and panoramic view. The movie choices and TV options are meh but to be expected. One thing I really appreciated was the vanity area with the makeup light up mirror I'm a early riser and don't want to wake anyone up while I try to get ready super convient! Aveda products, tasty coffee options steller breakfast options, fast check in, extremely professional staff, SPOTLESS!!!! Kudos ? to the housecleaning! Nice decorating not tacky or dated. They don't ask for extra large deposits or not allow you to pay with your bank card which some other even upscale hotels have they just don't tolerate "riff raff" at all. Thank you we will return! So relaxing...

This is one of the most affordable and romantic hotels in the Greater Puget Sound area that has in-room jacuzzi tubs. Tubs are quite rare in hotels in this area unless you want to spend close to $1k a night.Even though this Silver Cloud Inn is rated a 3 star hotel, it even has more amenities than many 5 star hotels. The service and cleanliness was top notch. I would definitely go back!Rooms: Super clean with all the standard amenities.Nearby activities: Serene lighthouse Beach Park within walking distance.Safety: Felt quite safe.Walkability: You can reach several restaurants and the ferry to Whidbey Island within walking distance.Food & drinks: Plenty around there.Noteworthy details: Love that it was right on the water with beautiful views of the sound, can see the ferriew traveling back and forth, waves crashing against the shore, and more.

The hotel seems very nice. Great location IF all you want to do is eat and look out the windows. Other than a couple decent restaurants nearby, there is nothing else. For the $$$$ we paid, I would expect the heat to at least work. And the warm refrigerator not have very old and gross pizza in it. Get the top floor because otherwise you'll hear every step by the people above you. Breakfasts were quite good. One word: disappointing.

All the staff were so nice, and the breakfast was amazing. They had these mini breakfast burritos that had egg, cheese, spinach, and mushrooms in them that were so delicious. There was also a really good spread of other options. It was one of the best hotel breakfast I've had in a long time. It was quite a pleasant surprise.Walkability: It was close to the beach, ferry, and a few restaurants.

Absolutely loved our stay. Silver cloud accommodated our stay well very. Booking was a breeze as I made a mistake and the front desk was able to fix it with no upcharge. Many thanks!!! Check in was smooth and the gentleman at the front desk gave us a top notch room with the hot tub facing the water. The room was clean, cozy and had phenomenal views as we had the top third floor corner unit. We would highly recommend John’s Grill for dinner as well as we did the full town experience! We had plans to visit a nearby cafe but the hotel breakfast was exceptionally tasty! The lady that was making the breakfast was super cute and friendly as well. The selection was very good as well, as we have been to other hotels and have had not the best presentation or selection, but this is definitely top 5! Perfection comes with this cute small town beach nearby and hotel luxurious stay!Rooms: Rooms are small private but cozy for all needs. Views are insane. You can hear the waves and the ferry.Nearby activities: BeachWalkability: Pubs, restaurants, cafes, beach, ferryFood & drinks: Johns grill, ivars
