I have been coming to Mountain View for over a decade now. Their vets, and staff, are nothing short of amazing. My 15 year old dachshund, with IVDD since 2012, passed away recently. They always handled her with such care. I left her appointments with confidence. Having another senior dachshund is a bit scary, but I know she’s in the best hands with Dr. Sargent, and his team.
Thank you for everything!

Our almost 4 year old hedgehog had the “hoppies” and that means she may have mites. We called Mt View Veterinary Clinic for an. appointment and they got us in the same day. The Dr and Asst were very nice and listened to our concerns and also saw our other hedgehog (they are cage mates) and spent quite a bit of time with us. They prescribed Revolution and not only that but they both had wellness exams so we can have the prescription refilled for both of them for a year. I HIGHLY Recommend this Clinic, it was clean, the staff was professional and really listened to our concerns about our animals. The other Amazing thing the bill was being reasonable, most vet clinics charge you for every little thing and the bill is usually over $300-$400 not this clinic ❤️

FANTASTIC VET EXPERIENCE!
I've never wanted to shout louder from the rooftops about a vet experience.
The front desk people are always knowledgeable and incredibly friendly, answering all questions thoroughly. I've had some not great experiences with vets in the past and I have to steel myself to be my dogs' advocate against potential pushback, but the incredibly kind vet tech, Kayla, filled me with confidence with her calm and capable demeanor.
My rescue pup got her initial vaccinations in Mexico and, a few weeks ago, the Mountain View doctor took the time to read my email and research the foreign vaccinations to make sure we were on the right schedule for boosters.
The drive was over 2 hours round-trip for us and I would go there forevermore. Plus, they had much more availability than all of the Seattle clinics I called.
Also, I have a primary immune deficiency and have to be careful with viral exposures and they were happy to mask and give our girl her injection outside. Their compassion comes from having family members who are immune-compromised and, though this makes me sad to hear, we are incredibly grateful for their understanding. This is a HUGE gift that makes medical appointments much easier for us.
Thank you, Mountain View Veterinary Clinic!

We can't say enough good things about Mountain View Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Sargent, and his amazing staff! We have two reactive dogs, four cats, and a bearded dragon, and every one of them receives exceptional care at this clinic. The team always prioritizes the well-being of the animals, going above and beyond, especially with our reactive pups. They patiently answer all of our questions and offer the best advice. Sadly, we had to put down one of our cats this past year, and even during that incredibly difficult time, they provided compassionate and supportive care, making an awful experience as bearable as possible. We couldn't recommend Dr. Sargent and his team more highly!

I have taken pets to this clinic for over 20 years. My experience when Dr. Baber owned and practiced there was exceptional. Since Dr. Sargent took over the practice, a lot of customer service has been lost. It is difficult to have a pet seen in urgent situations. This is difficult when you have a pet who is suffering. I have chosen to seek care elsewhere because of this. If an additional vet is needed as it appears, hopefully this will change.

We really like Dr. Sargent but recently our senior dog saw another vet at the clinic who was insistent that he had advanced arthritis and prescribed us anti-inflammatory medicine to manage it. We sought two second opinions and X-rays that show no arthritis but rather a joint injury to his shoulder that we are now working to rehab via PT. Our experience was stressful and left us feeling incredibly defeated about our dog’s prognosis and quality of life.

Today we took our Corgi in only to realize she had some tumors. She was having respiratory issues. We had to let her step over the Rainbow Bridge. Lady vet and her staff. were very sad also. It was a hard day for all of us. Held her paw, kissed her & said goodbye sweet baby girl.

I am not a bad review writer but I have now had 3 negative encounters with this clinic. I loved my first visit, after that is was all down hill. One time I brought my dog in and the receptionist had poor customer service and a bad attitude, no problem, I can typically look past that. Then they forgot to give my dog his bordetella vaccine when he was in for all of his vaccines to be updated. This would also not have been an issue except for when I called to find out why, the receptionist was rude once again, there was no problem solving or offering an appointment availability. Then recently they denied my dog’s medication request from Chewy because it was a “high volume order” which is untrue, it’s on a subscription and the same amount as every time. The only solution they can offer me is to sell me medication from their clinic for way more than the amount that chewy charges for my pets medication. For a mistake that is clearly theirs. I feel like I have been more than patient and forgiving, I myself work in customer service and making mistakes is okay, you do need to find a solution to fix your mistakes though.

Dr. Sargent made a careless error that had significant negative impact on our dog. In the future I would double check his work.
