Quoted me a price over the phone and then raised it by 50% when i showed up with my vehicle. The main guy that runs the office ends up fake answering his phone and telling me to leave when i was complaining. Do not bring your car here. After asking around this place is known in town for doing dodgy work. AVOID THIS PLACE

DONT GO HERE!!! I initially had to take my car to get it diagnosed as they were not able to use their computer to diagnose in their shop. So after paying another shop to diagnose it I brought it in to have the timing belt, water pump and valve cover gasket replaced. I brought my car in on Monday but they said they couldn't get to it until Wednesday. By Wednesday morning they still haven't gotten to my car but said it will be done in the next few days. Five hours later they call me and told me my car is all done which left me a little skeptical. I was grateful because they were able to quote me $1000 less than another shop for the same work. here's where things get interesting. When I went to pick up my car the owner kept rushing me to pay even though I had 20 minutes until they closed. I then proceeded to ask if I could take a look at the work they did before paying him the money. The owner then began to yell and argue with me telling me he didn't trust the work he did. I told him as a first time customer I feel like I deserve to look at what the work was done prior to paying the money. He then showed me that the car started and ran and then told me to never bring it back here again . I was outraged at this point and told him that I feel I am in the right to make sure the work was done properly. He continued to tell me that I insulted him and that I didn't trust his work and that I should take my car somewhere else . After this experience I don't think I'll ever be taking my car back to Candido's's in Monroe ever again!!!!

Candido's have helped me with my car multiple times in the past for small issues and have always been honest and cost conscious for their customers. I will always return here!

This shop is really phenomenal. It is a hidden gem of great customer service. From the outside looking in you may think it looks a bit messy but the gentleman working within know what they're doing and are offering kind, fair service. Today I showed up with an issue in my gas tank and foolishly it was my mistake and the gentleman helping me (seemingly the owner as he was the one answering the phone and giving the great service) advise me how to not make the mistake in the future and did not charge for assisting me. I felt that was very kind as it did not take more than 2 to 3 minutes for him to help me.. although he was very busy working on other cars, so I appreciatedthe quick diagnostic and wanted to show my appreciationhere. Would definitely return.

I self diagnosed my alternator going out. So, I planned to take on the adventure of driving it to the dealership to get it replaced. Got to Monroe and it died completely. I called Candido's because it was nearby. They were very helpful on the phone and quoted the job at half the price of the dealership, so I crippled it there. They got me in same day and completed the job. They used a good quality replacement part. No problems since.

He lied to me about the repairs needed on my Kia. Said I had a rear main seal oil leak and quoted thousands of dollars when it turns out all it needed was a new power steering pump.

These guys are crooks. Seriously. They literally rip good, decent, parts out of your car and replace them with old ones and then tell your your engine is toast. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE ANY COMMON SENSE. Tipping the local authorities off to this place.
