The owner, Jake Bergis, offers poor service. He would also rather be condescending, make assumptions, and hang up on you. Will happily not do business with you.

Recently had a few small dents (door dings) removed they were very professional and stuck to the delivery time. I recommend them for all body work. Very fair and competitive pricing, I will definitely use them again for any of my auto body work.

I bought a car at a dealer in Tacoma it had some dents, scratches and a big crash on the trunk (honestly I thought they weren't going to be able to fix it, or at least it'll be noticeable, but hey I got a really good deal in the car)so my deal with the dealership was that they were going to fix everything and I figured it was going to take at least a week, well little did I know it took them 1 day and a half, when I went to pick up my car it looked like new I was so happy with the results that I felt like giving a good review I ask the dealer how could I do that and they told me that the people in charge of doing the job are instant auto body, so here it is, thanks.

I've called multiple times, left multiple voice mails and have never received a call back. In addition to not returning calls, they do very poor work. My car is covered with fisheyes, orange peel and white speckling. I bought a car from BMW Bellevue that needed some paintwork and part of my negotiation was for three body panels to be repainted. BMW promised me they had a guy that did excellent work. I later found out they don't paint in house and use Instant Autobody, then found out that Instant Autobody does their spraying under tent in a parking lot. Talk about a ghetto setup. I got BMW Bellevue to give me the direct number for the owner of Instant Autobody's cellphone and called him beforehand to discuss my concerns of painting under a tent in a parking lot. The owner owner admitted that painting under a tent can be problematic with windy/dusty conditions but at the same time was very dismissive and nonchalant. He didn't do anything to make me feel better about the paint environment. Nevertheless BMW Bellevue wouldn't let me take the car to my preferred paint shop that has multiple dedicated downdraft spray booths. Painting in a parking lot with no dust free environment, no air filtration and I'd have to assume poor paint prep work is a recipe for fisheyes and directly reflects the results that I received. I requested to meet with the BMW service manager along with the painter to address my concerns and they both acknowledged the poor paint work. I was requesting for my car to be taken to a certified BMW collision repair center but the BMW service manager refused. He assured me they'd be able to correct the problems. I asked the painter what he planned to do to correct the dozens of fisheyes, orange peel and white speckling. He said he planned to wet sand it. I asked if he was going to add more clearcoat and he said only if necessary but that he'd correct the defects. After they had my car for a week, I came to pick it up today and some of the major defects were removed but there were still dozens of small fisheye dimples and now even more white speckling. I'm certain all the painter did was minimal wet sanding and polishing. This is not how you correct fisheyes. At this point I just needed my car back and realized that BMW wouldn't stand behind there customer and that the painter was incapable of providing quality work. If you're getting a car painted through a BMW dealer that uses these amateurs, demand a BMW Certified Collision Repair Center. Instant Autobody is not a quality auto paint shop. It's super budget, so that dealers can save money. Even though I'd never take my car to a Maaco, I'm sad to say that I probably would have received better paint work at Maaco. Even Maaco uses spray booths. Trust me, this was obvious to me but it was my mistake for trusting a stealer dealer. If someone wants to paint your car under a tent... Run as fast as you can. Don't do it.
