I don't enjoy leaving bad reviews but this really ticked me off. Hubby and I went to Long Beach for the day, first time ever being there and decide to grab some ice cream when leaving. 3 or 4 kids working and still stood in line forever. Everyone in front of me was only getting ice cream. How long does it take to scoop ice cream?!? Apparently over an hour. One of the girls with strawberry blonde hair was more concerned with chatting with the other girl working then she was with scooping ice cream. Asked me 3 times what kind of ice cream for the 2nd one I ordered. Their set up is completely inefficient beyond belief. I'm all for giving kids job's but imo they can socialize on break or after work. Ice cream itself was great but that was it. Will never get ice cream there again. Probably why their tip jar had barely anything in it and I wasn't going to leave a tip. Owner's apparently don't read these reviews bc they haven't changed nothing.

Really unfriendly staff. Not greetful. Don't expect smiles here. Really good ice cream though. Okay prices.

I haven't ever bought ice cream here, but I have enjoyed their fudge. It has been my normal stop for rocky road fudge since 2018. Rocky road fudge needs mini marshmallows and they have been rapidly disappearing over the past couple of years. I don't usually do a review unless I have mentioned an issue to the establishment, which I have done for the past two years. [I mentioned the lack of marshmallows to the manager and the woman who makes their fudge.] I don't know about the other flavors, but the quality has been decreasing and the prices going up.I know this is the case everywhere, but when you get used to a certain quality you expect it, especially when the price increases. It is now $18.99 per pound.Sadly, I had to look for a new place. If you want fudge go to Anna Lena's.

We were visiting Long Beach and came across Scoopers. The people that work there were really friendly, the ice cream was very yummy, and they give super generous scoops. Good all the way around!

We stopped here while driving through and was so impressed by all the varieties of ice cream and other confectionaries that we now plan our trips around going here when we travel around the area. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of attractions in the area as well as being close to beach. This is where adults can be transformed literally into "a kid in a candy store" as there is a wide variety of candy to choose from, some great fudge and taffy on top of everything else that is available. Definitely worth stopping by as you won't be disappointed. Prices are great too.

Process in how to get ice cream is not exactly efficient. They're central to the LB town and really need to streamline. Some are not so happy and I think it's bc the customers have a long wait and have little communication from staff on how to get ice cream. Go see the beach and storm watch.

Finally went here on our a recent vacation down to Long Beach. Yes the line was ling but moved along at a fairy fast pace. My wife got 1 scoop of Marion Berry Pie and I got 2 scoops of the Strawberry Cheesecake, both on waffle cones. Both were some of the best flavors we've ever tested, definitely give this place a try if you're patient and really want good ice cream.

Deliciously creamy ice cream. This is a Pistachio Almond junior cone. Be prepared to wait in line but totally worth it!

As the largest ice cream shop in town they certainly didn't seem to need to put much effort in. It was not particularly busy but we certainly felt crowded and rushed. The process started with the till attendant rattling off the 15 or so flavors which were not in stock, and then pushing you down the line. the staff behind the counter was about as unenthusiastic as you can get, which is fine, its a summer job, but the lack of leadership or coordination in the shop took me back a bit. Just seemed to be a mess and you almost felt depressed for the people working the counter. mind of took all the fun out of getting an ice cream cone.

Stopped to get a few things including "Pumpkin Pie Jelly Bellies" and found this cute place to be packed full of all kinds of candy and ice-cream. The line was out the door, literally!The staff were very helpful and friendly!!!They also have all the basic items you would find at a small market (food...).

Terrible service. Employees were more like prison guards. No respect for their customers. Awful attitudes towards me when I asked real questions. Will never recommend to a family member or friend. Just go to Safeway and get yourself a pint of ice cream and save the trouble. As for the employees-- work somewhere you actually enjoy and maybe you'll act right.

Giant scoops of ice cream!!! Yes, the line is long but they do a great job of keeping it moving! For the recent review that the reviewer said they gave them the wrong flavor-not sure how that happened because you watch them scoop your ice cream! Great place for a giant "Scooper's size" scoop of ice cream!
