2023: friendly staff, helped us to find our relatives’ mailed ashes. Staff (some) can speak Spanish. And a great place to mail & pick up packages for PCT thru hikers.

My dogs and I were outside packing the car up for our holiday trip and the post person was in such a hurry they almost ran over both my dogs. My dogs are overly friendly as one is a lab and the other a small terrier. I was in the process of apologizing as they went to greet them but they just started backing up. I tried calling the office, I understand the post office is busy but this is insane way to treat locals.

My husband and I sent our daughter in the military a package for her birthday as she is stationed in Japan. We kept asking her did you get your package, that was a month after and she replied no. Its been almost 3 months and we get a notice in the mail to go pick up a package. Well guess what: To our surprise it was her package coming back to us. We ask the post office before trying to track the package and all they could say was we don't know.Today was my boiling point with the post office here in Leavenworth, not only did we get her package back but they didn't have an explanation for what happen, to top it off they couldn't give us a refund for it. What happen to the good postal service? I asked for the post master to talk to him, well they lie saying that he was gone for the weekend. His car was outside, he closed his blinds. He was too afraid to talk to a customer and explain how come they can't do their job right? I will speak up about this, I am not the type of person to cause drama but.....I will speak up on behalf of doing what is right; and not be idiots trying to hide behind doors and not have an answer for not doing their job correctly. Second time I've been into this post office while there is a line of people and no post office employee to be found for 5-10+ min. Can obviously hear them working in the back but they seem to not care about the people that are spending their time waiting on service...

Ridiculous. I've had a PO Box here for a couple months. Have had multiple issues. Most recently had a package delivered that they placed in wrong PO Box, and now is missing with no way to replace because their own system says it was delivered.Very unhelpful.

We've always had great service and the staff is very helpful. UPS and FedEx don't like to deliver to our home during the winter, so we have everything sent to the PO. They never complain. Thanks to the staff for all their hard work!

wow - as bad as Snohomish - have to beg and call in advance when im expecting a package or important mail. Like really? took me 10 calls to get past 'busy' phone line and when I do get through to a human they immediately put me on hold. Wonder if I'll get through?

During the Christmas rush I expected to wait in line, and I did so. Everyone seemed to expect the same and most visited with each other and our clerk did a great job even though he was the only one helping. Always very pleasant and helpful. Thank you!

The building is decorated in traditional Bavarian style that makes it hard to find from the highway. Interior is the same as most USPS stores are. We came around 4 pm and there were no waiting lines.

Thank you Tom! This is the absolute best post office we have ever experienced. We were in and out of there in a matter of minutes and honored to have Tom be the one helping us. Extremely efficient compared to most people working at the front desk in any post office and extremely personable. It made sense that Tom is a veteran which explained everything. Super high standards, great service. A+ experience. Leavenworth post office is the best and very dog friendly!

Terrible customer service and attitude. Closed on Saturday a few minutes before 11 to make sure to avoid work.
