I'm used to HnR block staff being more engaged with me when they're filing my taxes. Explaining things in detail and making sure I'm literate with what's generally going on terms of taxes, the employee that helped me was really quiet and didn't seem super confident or engaging, they were generally polite and professional though, just kind of out of it. I came here late on a Saturday to file so it was pretty slow. The area is shady and this Hnr Block office is very drab and sort of thrown together. Wouldn't go here alone haha

I scheduled an appointment for 1pm, Deborah scheduled me. The appointment was for a simple K1 which I know takes all of 5 minutes to complete. The day of the appointment comes around and I get a call from the tax “pro” who is named Ava. She says she has to leave at 1:30 and therefore I have to reschedule. But my appointment is at 1…which would give you 30 minutes. So, I needed to cancel and reschedule for no reason.But what’s more frustrating is that Ava just told me that she wouldn’t have been able to do the K1 anyway because she doesn’t know how. I made it clear to Deborah that I needed a K1 done and yet I am handed off to Ava who doesn’t know how to do them and sounds like she was hired just yesterday. Very annoyed at the wasting of time.

Very happy with the service I received. I believe the person that helped me was Dawn. She was taking care of myself , phones , front desk and a group coming in for a real estate class. She did an excellent job .

Our taxes took upwards of 3 weeks to prepare and passed through multiple hands. Communication was drawn out and even though our information and necessary requested information was supplied immediately, it was often overlooked and unretained by our tax preparer.
