“Norms is my go to place for beer. There are a lot of bottle shops out there, but few have the selection Norms does. If your planning on going, give yourself plenty of time to go over their huge inventory. Bring a growler or 2 because they also may have something on tap you want to bring home. The break up packs so you can take a single is a great policy! Make your own 6 pack, grab a pack of your favorite, whatever you want they accommodate.You can not drink in Norms, it is actually a convenience store, but you can find lots of great beers to try!”
“Oodles of kinds of beer on tap and from the walls of beer coolers! They have MANY choices of ciders as well. The staff is ready to answer questions or point you in the right direction of what you're looking for. You can even ask a staff member to help you pick out a beer, cider or wine; many times they've either tried the beverages or have knowledge of what regular customers have tried and experienced with taste, body, etc. They also have non-alcoholic beers available for your pleasure. Norms also has a large selection of cigarettes a day smokeless tobacco. They also have a small deli of various kinds of fried foods available at reasonable prices and some regular sandwiches stocked in a small fridge as well as two kinds of frozen drink slushees. Besides selling regular sodas, they also have a cooler of vintage and regional sodas. Norms also has Shell station gas pumps and a large propane tank to fill your small propane tanks or rv propane tank. Norms is a safe place as far as convenience stores go because the town and state police like to fuel up here so there could be officers there at anytime day or night. There is a small bathroom located in a separate building by the fuel pumps, just ask for the key and return it promptly. Norms is a good place to visit on your way camping, fishing or to a party for beverages and ice (in a stocked freezer out front) to fill up your coolers. It has a nice coffee shop across a side street (Lundeen Expresso) that has good coffee and a drive thru. Norms is located across the street from Lundeen Park which is on the Lake with a beach, but DON'T park at Norms to go to the beach or you will be towed. Very friendly place owned by a family who do many projects for those in true need such as cutting and delivering wood to Lake Stevens property owners who's fireplace is their only heat source and are too infirm to cut their own wood. DEFINITELY worth a visit to Norms.”
“I stopped by to pick up some groceries I wanted to donate for the Food Bank. I was impressed! I spent $125 and saved $110 AND got a free turkey. Cheers! The cashier was so nice helping me download the app to save an additional $5. He also informed me they have a wine sale and you can save 20% but with the app you can save 30%! That's a HUGE savings. I will most definitely be back. Awesome customer service!”

“Came to the Lake Stevens Haggen this morning, Saturday 11 March 2023, to select one sweet treat to try from the in-house bakery. A small line formed for the donuts made in-house while I was picking out my item. I went with an individually packaged cinnamon roll from the breakfast table. Price pre- and with tax was $1.99 and I was able to pay via self check-out, which opened to customers after I arrived and before I checked out. The parking lot was large and workers friendly.It was a cinnamon roll with a hearty portion of cream cheese frosting, which as a cream cheese frosting enthusiast I quite enjoyed. The roll itself was well cooked and the cinnamon not too overpowering after the first of couple bites. It came in a tight bowl of sorts within the main container, which made eating the cinnamon roll much less messy than it might have been without the bowl.”

“Wow! The cake they made for my baby shower was gorgeous and delicious! The whole thing got eaten and some people even had seconds! I had an issue with another bakery that did NOT communicate so last week I contacted Safeway bakery and they did exactly what we asked for in a pretty short amount of time. Very happy and I will 100% be back here for future events!”
“Kind staff in every department ready to help. Produce section has gotten much better. No more sparrows flying around landing on produce. Join the rewards program for great sales and sometimes free items! Pharmacists can answer many questions and are happy to do so. Great cheese sections, both gourmet and regular cheeses in 2 different spots. The Safeway brand of foods is cheaper than the name brand food and most of it tastes the same or better than name brands, often with less salt like with their hot dog buns. Big organic vegetable section!!! The organic vegetables are always fresh! Safeway also has many kinds of organic items under the O Organic Safeway brand in many departments and styles.”

“Love this store. It’s always clean and well stocked. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Also love that there is a post office inside! The pharmacy line can get crazy. I don’t send same day prescriptions there because they have been seriously understaffed.”

“I absolutely LOVE my little grocery store!! Everyone that works here is sweet and kind and wonderful, they always have what I need and more. Their prices are great, selection is great, they have pretty flowers, fresh produce, great eggs, Amish roll butter, all the things the big stores have but in a sweet lil store a few seconds from home. And, I love to support a small town store instead of the big stores. Just perfect!!”
