“I could have spent more time here, but we were with a group, and I wanted to be cognizant of others. This is just a warm, cozy, environment with a larger collection of books than it seems possible.”
“I stumbled upon this charming bookstore and instantly fell in love with its cozy atmosphere. The shelves are filled with a diverse selection of books to suit every taste. What sets this bookstore apart is its support for local artisans, offering a range of locally made items that add to the store's unique charm. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making the browsing experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a welcoming bookstore with a great selection and a commitment to supporting local businesses, look no further. Highly recommended!”
“Overall great store for MTG players, tabletop gamers and comics fans.Exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable staff. Simply put- They just get it, and they just do things right. Every one of the dozens of times I have purchased something, usually singles, it has been a fantastic experience among multiple different staff members. Thanks yall!Wednesday night commander usually fills the place. You can easily go solo and find a game within minutes if you do things appropriately. Just sit and wait or ask around.Ofcorse it's downtown Seattle and prices are a bit higher, but they also have some great deals. If the prices and prize support were a bit better, I would give them 5 stars, even 6 stars if I could. But again I don't fault them for it. Retail rent is expensive in Seattle, and its not the most lucrative type of business. Don't get me wrong the prices are fair, just a lil bit higher than most shops I go to outside of the city.I would love to see the pauper and modern event turn out increase a bit. I wish I could make it more often myself. Players, let's make it happen!”
“A great local option for cookbooks with a diverse selection. Every cookbook that I have wanted to purchase in the past few years I have been able to get at the store or through their website. Visit and browse, you'll find something you love!”
“Charming small shop with mostly new and some used books sprinkled throughout. Organization is really chaotic with fun categories like “When You’re Feeling Witchy”—maybe not optimal if you’re looking for a specific title but awesome for discovering something unexpected.”
“A lovely bookstore in Fremont! Always has an interesting collection of books and the staff here are always so kind and friendly! It’s really cozy in here and I love the spiral staircase to the basement. Highly recommend if you’re passing through the area.”

8310 Greenwood Ave N, Seattle“I LOVE this place. It is a wonderful bookstore with a strong community event focus too. It's reasonably priced, a great place to hang out and peruse the books and engage with others. I've seen high quality musical performances and the monthly events calendar is packed full of great jams, intellectual and cultural events. This is a place well worth supporting and telling your friends about!”

“Ada's I love you but please make your breakfast sandwich less vertical!!!! It's delicious but I need to unhinge my jaw to eat it, and it becomes very messy.”
“This is such a great bookstore! They have a wide variety of topics, all excellently stocked. The staff is super helpful as well! There is a great cafe/restaurant connected to the bookstore that you should definitely check out during you're visit! I would recommend the Chai!”
“There is so much stuff here, I don't even know where to start!! But the staff is always ready to help you find that perfect thing that you didn't even know you were looking for!”

1408 NE 42nd St, Seattle“Absolutely wonderful little bookshop with great prices, a wide selection and deeply knowledgeable and passionate staff. Highly recommended for any and all literature lovers!”
“A wonderful bookstore and one of my favorite bookshops in Seattle. The inside is incredibly beautiful, and you really feel like you have stepped into the quintessential used book store. They have such a wide array of books in the store I am always able to find something be it for myself or for a gift. While the fiction section is the largest, other sections are not left lacking.I have also sold some of my read books here, and I the exchange they offer is quite nice. I usually opt for store credit since I know I will be using it soon anyway (sometimes the same day).”
“The dude running this place is awesome! Had a really good conversation with him, very passionate and knowledgeable. Respects everyone’s tastes too, great selection and organization. Good prices too”

111 5th Ave S, Edmonds“Quaint little bookshop in downtown Edmonds, WA. We went here for those last-minute stocking stuffers, and they didn't disappoint. Wonderful staff, very eager to help, and a great supply for most readers.”
“I stop by here on occasion to look for their varied selection of incense and oils, and the staff is incredibly kind and friendly every time. There is one man with long gray hair who occasionally works the cashier who's always a joy to talk to whenever I come in. I remember coming in wearing a NiGHTS Into Dreams shirt once and he was fascinated by it and asked who the character on it was. I'm going to miss this place when I leave.”
“Absolutely LOVE this place!!!! One of the best bookstores ever and the library is even better. The younger guy working the library was such a bright lovely light and made my visit there so amazing. He was friendly and told me all the history of the shop as well gave me a brochure for the classes and workshops there are. Can’t say enough about the experience i had here, highly recommend, love the staff, love the book collections, love the tarot collections. They have it all! 10/10”
“I've been going to Secret Garden for years, a much-loved resource. Buy books online, pay at the store when you pick it up. My most recent purchase was a pre-order, which was a good thing, because the book was so popular, that the first print run was sold out, except for the ones who had preordered.”
“Still one of the best bookstores around.
Lots of books and magazines, well maintained facility, knowledgeable and friendly staff and an in store Starbucks makes it my most visited place around.”
“The University book store is an extremely nice University book store. Very well kept with an amazing variety of student study need supplies and an amazing, very helpful staff. Love this store.”
“Just what you're looking for in a shop-around-the-corner kind of bookstore.Great selection and friendly folks behind the counter to help you find your next read.”
“This was my go-to for resources for nearly 30 years ago, and now I'm coming back for fun stuff for my GRANDS!! It never gets old! I still love shopping here (regardless if they homeschool or not) - its always a treasure hunt!!”
“OMG! i LOVE bo! whenever we set down he RAN into our lab set down and started purring. he wouldn’t leave. i tried to get him off me but he got super mad so we stayed for an hour until he got sick of sitting on me and got up to eat. they also have great books and the staff is really helpful and very nice! if you love cats you HAVE TO GO!”

600 128th St SE, Everett“This nature walk is delightful. There are some shaded portions of their boardwalk that have gotten a bit funky with algae or something that can make it a bit slippery, and I suggest only going on dry days if you have any mobility impairments.Their artificial stream/fish viewing area is unfortunately skippable. Every time I’ve looked it’s been so dirty/murky there was nothing to see. I feel that it could be better maintained.Their hours are also a bit limited and I really wish they were open on Sundays as that is usually the day my family likes to go on nature walks. But I love the walk and I love supporting the foundation through membership and their cute little shop.”
“Lots of helpful books. Birding supplies. Centrally located, north of UW. More than birding, they provide information that explains the ecosystem in which birds live their cycle of existence.”
“Overall, a great book store. The person working the counter was very knowledgeable and nice. While their collection is beyond impressive. Lots of Russian books from fiction to history to philosophy. It's a great place for anyone interested in books. Highly recommend.”

609 Market St, Kirkland“Such a warm, cozy and lovely bookstore with a really sweet and inviting owner! Great variety of brand new and gently used books, featuring new releases, classics and a wide range of genres! Was so glad to find just the book I was looking for (The Kite Runner) at such a steal, and I really loved the warm cozy ambience of this place, with 2 huge armchairs right at the entrance perfect for reading ☺️Travelled 45 minutes to Kirkland for this bookstore and would definitely recommend! Please do support this local mom and pop store and keep them running and providing great reads for the community for a long time Noticed that they also have a book club which meets every second Tuesday of the month at 6.30PM, for anyone looking for community events and discussions ☺️”

4118 E Madison St, Seattle“Small but awesome book store with a great selection of modern books. They have a nice children's and young adults section too. They also have cool puzzles and stationary cards. Great place!”
“I could spend all day in this store. It's local, community-centered, and they have everything you're looking for plus many things you didn't know you needed ? You can even take a break in the little food court. My favorite is the Mediterranean place. But back to books. Buy them!”
