Had an awful experience getting my ears pierced. It started with the stylist being unable to symmetrically mark the position for the piercing on both sides. To prevent worse things from happening, I had my wife mark the spot. Then the stylist pierced the first ear, only to end up 1/8" below the marked spot. Aware of her mistake, she tried to remove the stud but was unable to do so without causing me major pain. She called the manager, and it took the two of them 15 minutes to finally get it out. Lastly, the stylist pierced both ears, this time right. After this, she sent me to the cashier without a word of apology - where I was asked how much of a tip I wanted to leave for the stylist.
Besides that, the store was also a mess. I was in the market for some nail polish as well, but found the section missing many products, and the few they had completely unorganized.
In summary, a place to avoid. Poorly trained employees and a messy store will certainly not lead to a good experience.

Seems a good beauty supply spot, less expensive than near by sephora, but that's not really here nor there... like all ot kinda stinks inside, but I don't like perfume, you acclimate to it, like the monkey house.

Came in yesterday to return a product I purchased from the alderwood ulta. The process was easy and I was able to get a new product to replace it along with some great recommendations. Kaitlin helped me out and was incredibly kind. Her customer service will keep me coming back.

A whole new level of zero customer service today at around 2:30pm. No one acknowledged my husband or me when we came in. When I went to check out, the lone cashier was helping someone who had some kind of an issue. The cashier just stood there—waiting for a manager, as it turned out—while the line grew behind me. No eye contact with anyone, no “I’ll be right with you.” In the 15 (!) minutes I waited to check out, the manager came by the counter twice, as did another employee. At no point did any of them acknowledge in any way that the line had grown to 9 people and wasn’t moving. When the manager did finally open another register, I didn’t get as much as “sorry for the wait.” I’ve shopped at other Ulta stores, always had a pleasant experience. This was awful.
Edit:
And if you need more proof that store cares nothing about how its customers perceive it, see the AI-generated non-response to my original review. Good grief.

I went in looking for a new foundation which is always stressful when I’m ready to spend the money on a nicer one than a regular drug store foundation, but April stepped in and helped me and prepped my skin beautifully with some skin care recommendations and then we tested a Bobbi Brown foundation, concealer, and powder and I ended up buying all three. Thank you April I can’t wait to feel beautiful at my friend’s wedding tomorrow!

Most likely you can find what you want but the service isn't that great in my opinion

The Salon in Ulta is underrated! I've been a repeat customer of Neila and am super happy with her work. She's done a great job with shaping and layering my super fine but bountiful hair and is funny, engaging, and delivers exactly the cut I'm expecting (never any bad surprises!) I'll definitely be back to her next time!

It is a cosmetics store where you find a variety of brands and very good ones. Visit it and you will be delighted.

Such a bummer. I’ve always heard such great things about Ulta from friends, influencers, etc. so I decided to come in and get some skincare counseling, as I am in need of a new routine. I floated around the store for about fifteen minutes, and wasn’t approached by anyone, nor could I find anyone to help. Very disappointing as this was a service I needed and I wasn’t just window shopping.

I experienced discrimination at this store. It has been many months since the harassment, but it still hurts my feelings.I went to have my hair done for a special occasion, and Brittany, the Elite Stylist described on the website, wasn't really skillful with my hair. I kindly asked her to fix my hair as the final outcome was very different from what I expected. Not having my desired look was not an issue at all. It can happen at any time, right? But when I tried to ask her to fix my hair in the kindest manner possible, Brittany didn't seem to listen to me at all. And at the end, she said, " So, what language do you speak? I will bring someone who can translate for you." I was shocked at her response but tried to be calm and told her it was not the right way to handle my request. Her response was, "okay, do you want to speak to our manager?" , and she just walked away. The store manager(Anthony) came and told me that there was nothing wrong with Brittany's reaction. The store manager had a big smile on his face while dealing with this situation. I knew there was nothing I could do when I saw the manager's reaction.I emailed the Ulta Corporate Customer Service Center but did not hear any response. Now I know no one at Ulta takes this kind of discrimination seriously.I want them to be more educated and sensible on the topic of discrimination because it is simply not the right thing to do.

I booked an appointment for a haircut online and NINE minutes before my appointment the stylist, Brittany, called to let me know she was running 45 minutes behind schedule?! 10 or 15 minutes I could deal with but 45 is ridiculous especially after I had come from several towns over thru traffic and 60 seconds later I would have been walking thru their front door. The stylists should have more courtesy for their clients. She easily could’ve called 30 minutes previously to let me know she was running significantly behind. All I got was a lousy sorry. Also, I had been to the salon previously and asked about pricing and such and spoken to Brittany who had quite the condescending atttitude. I only booked with her since she was the only one in all 10 salons I checked that had a Saturday opening. Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise she didn’t cut my hair. Learn some courtesy next time Brittany. As you can see in the other reviews she has been complained about multiple times and is obviously a continuous problem. Ulta why don’t you do something about this??

Went into ulta for simple skin care, upon me walking in and looking for my products was I followed by 3 store employees. One associate in a wheel chair arose to the challenge because you see the discomfort in my face. After half helping, I found all my products and headed up to check out. Upon waiting to check out the store manger on shift( a mid-age older Asian decent women) noticed me waiting and completely ingorned me and continued her conversation with laugher with the cashiers at the front. The cashier Sanaa-T was so passive aggressive and over all probably one of the worst experiences I ever had at a Ulta. Please improve the customer service and inform staff how to not profile your customers. It’s disgusting and over all Un-called for. Please improve !!!!!
